1979 was the last Year for the Straight Six.

Well, Now We know. Flat Hood, No T-Tops, otherwise it's the old 1/24 Monogram Camaro. But, that's a Pretty good Kit, so I'm pleased.

As far as , I know, there was never a pan for the Tranny. Just the shape. -
Hakan, I find the site I linked, to be interesting, but some of his other videos have been less than accurate. I think he copies what some other folks have said on the internet, and may not do as much research as he might need to do. But, he is fun and Cheerful, and digs up some neat pics.

I think all of the AMT Chevy Vans have those wipers! and, IMHO that has to be one of the weakest looking of any of the 3 or 4 Custom Vans that AMT offered. Side Pipes, Mags, Wide Tires, and some really poor graphics even by the standards of the day. Oh, and a Porthole..... But, we were talking about Old Kits, we'd like to see. On the Subject of Ford Vans, I am surprised no one has mentioned what I think of as the Crown Jewel of all van conversions. And, Its a Ford! Scalemates says it came out in 1978, which seems about right to me. It is on the downswing of the Van Era, but still a nice kit. Give It some other options from other kits, Mix & Match style and you could have a whole new kit. I say the Matilda Van would be my Parts donor. That Hemisphere Moon Roof, and the Round Headlight Grille and those wheels would make a nice conversion. WE know the Ford Van tooling is in use, last seen in Surf and Coke liveries. Why not offer the 6-by in 1975 Trim, Give us the Matilda Roooof / Parts, and throw in the Surf Boards and Motor Scooter and you'd have a Great Kit! Matilda Van

Black is Famously Hard to get a clean, shiny finish from. You nailed it! Awesome Paint ,and the stance is right. I don;t think I've seen the old Monogram Badman ever look as good as your version. Top Notch Work. Good Show.

That is true. I'm not Up on the 1970's Camaro Engine Options. Time for some Google.

No One in my family, that I'd give money to anymore. Well, Almost no one. And of the few left, none travel, or would be willing to call me and ask for money anyways.

Where would you source your Straight Six? The One in the Monogram '53 Chevy or Corvette is a bit old, isn't it?

Yes, on the Iso Grifo! What an Awesome Car. -
Ah, Okay Then. Thank You for posting the Photos. With the new flat hood, and using the stock wheels you could build a pretty Base Model V-8 Camaro out of this kit.
