  1. Well, I was wrong. Turns out the fancy V-8 is in the Hot Rod 1922 Model T kit.
  2. When Dave Natale was running A.I.M. he cast some great Mack 5 spoke and 6 spoke wheels that would be perfect for this conversion. However, like too many people, I waited to long to order, and they are no longer available.
  3. The Only thing going for the Aurora kit in my opinion, is the Alternate Engine options. That funky Front Cover, and some of the other parts are killer. Tim has pics of it in one of his Hot Rod V-8 Engine articles in the now defunct magazine.
  4. Thanks. Have any more info? US Based, or UK Based?
  5. A favorite of Mine!
  6. There are white molded ones out there. I have one.
  7. Windy Here right now. 10PM P.S.T. Hot, Muggy (Humid), Windy with Lightning, with the smell of rain.
  8. Hey, Revell. Be nice to have this as the Second Hit off of your LUV Tooling!
  9. And Fabrux's thread on the history of Monogram's 1/24 Chevy Trucks.
  10. Here is the link to one thread. I see you and I were all over it then. I wonder if Scott Solomon aka "Old Mopars" has had any luck with the parts?
  11. Very Nice. Looks good in a Mono-Colour paint scheme.
  12. Great Build. It sits awfully high, though. Couldn't you lower it a bit?
  13. I used to watch this Dave Edmunds video on MTV, when I was in the USAF. I was a favorite of mine, especially because of the race cars shown. Now, I want to know what series of racing this is, and how to find some still pics of the cars. I can guess that the series is some sort of semi-homemade cars, that it is in the U.K., and dates from the late 1970's to the early 1980's. Here is the Video.
  14. Starfix!?! Holy Cow, I admire you. It looks great for a paint mule!
  15. I don't know what happened to it. There was talk sometime back here on the forums, when the "Pulled Pork Blazer" was announced that somebody had a hood, and was looking to get some resin copies made. I've never seen anymore about it. Be worth looking that thread back up and sticking it here, just so the info does not get lost.
  16. I like where this is going. Keep up the good work. BTW, what kit is it? What scale? 1/48th?
  17. I like your thinking. Sounds like a great idea. I jump in, but I have at least 3 group builds half started, and I'm not going to commit to any more.
  18. Cool, Snake! C-17 Pilot at work. Neat birds, for Trash Haulers. (I'm an ex F-15 Crew Chief, so all them other planes are just second best!) You have a lot to be proud of.
  19. I saw the word "Creeper" and instantly thought of the computer game 'Minecraft' that my grandson has taught me to play. Creepers are on of the biggest opponents in the game. I'm in Bakersfield, north and west of you. Welcome to the board.
  20. Thanks, Tim for your usual Outstanding review. Kits looks good. I hope the public snaps it up in droves.
  21. Not Sure what parts you would need to backdate this truck other than new rims. Even the hard rubber tires could be re-used.
  22. Happy Birthday, Snake! NOthing Clever to say. Just Glad to know you through this board!
  23. Beautiful Photos, Steve. They look the same to me, but that is not saying much.
  24. I have a stock (Well Mostly Stock) build in progress now. It uses this kit. Which also offers a Stock Tudor Sedan As well as the Perion Flathead Hop Up parts. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/ford/1931-1940/amt-1934-ford-2-doo/?view=roll So far I like it, and I find no fault with the body. My guess is, that if Round2 were to laser scan the body of a 33/34 Tudor, and mold it, you would have real problems telling the two (new & old) apart. But, there aren't that many stock Tudor's out there, and most street rods have had some massaging done to the bodys for better fit, and to "Look Better". But, I could be wrong.
