  2. That is a beautiful conversion effort. Looks to be factory original, great job.
  3. That is some very nice chassis detail work, something to be proud of.
  4. I cringe when I see what appears to have been a perfectly good '56 Chevy Wagon mutilated in such a way. The only two Chevrolets I really appreciate are the '56 (any body style) and the 65 Chevelle SS, I've owned both and kick myself for letting them go.
  5. My local Ollie's Has the gas tanker, Indian Chief, and Cobra II, but they are marked $14.99.
  6. No, one is just fine. I have a 61 Ford custom I am building with a futuristic flare and I think the turbine wheels would look good on it.
  7. Looking for a set of 1/25 scale turbine blade style wheels. Most of the ones I had over the years I discarded, now I find I need a set for a custom I am building. Lots of trade fodder, let me know.
  8. Sweet looking Shoebox, really like the way you worked the Nova roof onto the Ford body. Smooth, blue paint one of my favorite shades of blue.
  9. Passed a white Mclaren on my way home this afternoon. It was getting a bit hazy, thought at first it was a Vette until I got close enough to read the nameplate between the taillights. Don't see a lot of those around here.

  11. Some outstanding bodywork. Really like the overall concept.
  12. Ace, I wonder why you are questioning this. You know the accuracy of internet writers especially when it comes to cars. I see four squiggly things in the exhaust system, two are sort of shiny and the other two are sort of rusty looking, so there must be four turbos. Problem solved.
  13. Thanks for sharing those. I remember a few of them from my cursory walk through after I shut down my vendor table. Really liked the Jack Ingram Chevelle, saw him race it at Hickory Speedway when it was new. One of my favorite short-track drivers.
  14. Couple of nice Mopars, really like the Sox & Martin build.
  15. Glad to see a real steel hot rod. May not be original steel, but at least it is steel.
  16. IMHO that was an issue that needs to be addressed. The tables were so close together and close to the walls it was difficult for people to get to the tables. If one person stopped to look at a selection it would often block the aisleway. I realize the more vendors there are the more revenue the club can make on table rental, however there is the ability for the vendors to conduct business that is also important. Even with the tight area I had a pretty good time. After cost of room, table, etc., I made a few bucks, even won a model at the raffle. Didn't get much time to look at the models, although I did make a quick run through and saw Topher's display - the Aero Coupe caught my attention.
  17. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/mpc-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/plymouth/1971-1980/ One of these may get you in the ballpark.
  18. Coming along mighty fine, really enjoying this WIP.
  19. Had great trades with Steamboat and gbtr6, would trade with them anytime.
  20. 😲 Nothing more to say, that is some fabulous work. Two of my favorites are the purple Chevelle and the Sox & Martin pro-mod, of course the rest are truly beautiful to look at also.
  21. Excellent work, some really meticulous detailing. I would say beautiful, but in my simple mind, all Fords are beautiful. I guess this one is beautifuler. I know that is not a real word, but it depicts my thoughts of this build.
  22. Salisbury is not a show it is strictly a swap meet, and a fairly extensive one. It is usually held in February.
  23. Dad's '57 Chevrolet wagon was built that way. I regurgitated back there a couple of times before I got used to riding backwards. He also had an early 60's Rambler sedan he used on his mail route that had a fold down front seat back. It could be laid all the way back to the rear seat to make a semblance of a bed. The perfect date car for a teenage boy.
  24. Glad you mentioned Salisbury, I had forgotten it is coming up next month. Could you PM me the vendor information, please.
  25. More than likely they will also run a raffle for kits, parts, and other stuff. The money made at the raffle goes to the club to help toward expenses, so save a couple bucks for tickets. Who knows you may win a kit. I will be there with a vendor table. Will be wearing a USAF hat, so drop by and say hello.
