Of course you can. You might be able to replace the photos in the original threads.

I am going to close this one down right here. There will be no winner in this discussion.

Unfortunately, I am good at dealing with bad pain. I can put it out of my mind for some reason. Mine were also compression fractures. After about 30 seconds of rolling around on the ground in pain, I was able to stand up and walk around. It felt better everyday after that, so I never went to the doctor. Every now and then it would just feel like it was a deep bruise that would never completely go away. The same thing happened with my shoulder, torn labrum and didn't find out until years later. I am absolutely paying the price for not going to the doctor when the injuries occurred. My body now reminds me it was injured every morning. On the flip side, I cannot handle the small cuts and scrapes. I will complain about a paper cut for days.

Do what the doctors tell you. I broke 2 vertebrae and did not know it for about 10 years, until I lost the feeling in my legs. I now go for surgery about every 5 years or so.

There are still deals to be had at these auctions (usually not during prime TV time though). I like to look at the prices after the auctions have ended each day. The promoters know which cars to run across the block when the TV cameras are on.

The Gallery has unfortunately been broken for sometime. Dave was working on trying to save it, but I don't think it is going to be possible. It may need to be cleared and rebuilt from scratch.

You guys are missing the advantage of having your mechanic riding shotgun and adjusting the timing and carbs while you are flat out on the Pike's Peak Hill Climb.

The Revell version is a better kit, but you did a fine job with this MPC. Thanks for sharing it.

Welcome Kevin. There are a few 1/12 kits that are readily available. You can try places like Megahobby, Nobbylinc and Model Roundup if you are looking for a retailer. -
Snow is expected in Florida next week. Can't wait for the stories to show up on the news.

Xingu replied to Howard Cohen's topic in 1:1 Reference Photos: Auto Shows, Personal vehicles (Cars and Trucks)
I enjoyed looking at your photos throughout the year. Looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings. -
New forum format changed the way I view the comments
Xingu replied to Pete J.'s topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Go to Unread Content and on the right side, just above the first unread post, there will be an area that says "Condensed Expanded" click on whichever you prefer. -
You can start a new thread. You could also add a link to the old one at the beginning.

They do have great prices. They are also one of the slowest shippers (that is the trade-off). Most of my orders generally take 1-2 weeks to arrive and I am on the same coast.

It is 30' deep, enough room to work on my cars without being pushed right up against the tool boxes.

Since I know everyone was sitting on the edge of their seats, waiting for an update. All that is left to do for "Phase-1" is to get the gutters put on. Then start saving so I can get the electric service put in (transformer is several hundred feet away).

I have been slowly working on my second '68 Dart. I have had the body painted for some time and just couldn't get in the mood to work on it. I have some free time with the Holiday break, so figured I would start getting the rest of the parts painted. Not sure how others go about it but, I like to paint everything (except the body) at about the same time. Have all the parts ready for primer and paint. Going to spend the rest of the day wearing a respirator and surgical gloves.

Google "Workbench Plans" and see if you find anything you like. That is how I found the one I use. Built it for less than $100 (including a 4' light fixture).

% Mickey Thompson Tyres ...
Xingu replied to 1972coronet's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have seen quite a few cars run mid 9's at right around 150 mph. Some guys are quick off the line and others run 'em down right before the trap. -
Yes, you can get rattle cans. Might not be able to for all colors, but they do offer it.

Unfortunately, I knew this was going to end badly when this thread got resurrected. For the last time -- a person can do whatever they want with there items. But or don't buy, the choice is yours. Stop complaining about it here. This has been going on for YEARS. Nothing is going to change, no matter how wrong you think it is. If I see any other comments in other threads, they will be be removed. Please do not make me ban folks for something as stupid and childish as this. This thread is locked.

Some of you will notice that there are a lot of posts that have been removed. If you guys cannot get along, you may need to find another place to frequent.

I generally just fill out an order form and mail it off with a check. 3-4 weeks later I get a care package with some paint.
