  1. It is the name of a permanent marker that comes in various colors and tip sizes.
  2. I can see all the photos. Not sure what the problem could be. I will bring this to Dave's attention, maybe he has some ideas about what could be causing it.
  3. I am still seeing photos. Can you be more specific, are you not seeing any photos at all or is it just in certain posts?
  4. It's the high heel work boots that will be hard to disguise.
  5. HaHa. That is from the movie Top Secret starring Val Kilmer.
  6. The post I saw did specifically mention the enamel paints, so maybe the Metalizers will survive.
  7. They responded on Facebook saying it was discontinued because of lack of support from the marketplace.
  8. Yes. They are from Keith Marks.
  9. Pintos and Vegas are the reason my wife doesn't like the idea of me wanting to go drag racing. She thinks all cars are as jittery as they are going down the track.
  10. This has been on my bench for awhile now. Slowly getting it built. Another OOB build. Snapped a photo today, right after I finished the BMF. First time using Keith Marks decals. I like them, but they are a bit susceptible to scratching so you have to take it slow.
  11. I have a habit of saving containers. I tell my wife that I am sure I can put model parts in them (at some point).

If start from the beginning of the thread you will see that JC chose the "alternate" color for the car, based on his reference photos.
  13. That is on Dave's long list of items to repair. I believe he has to do it after the software update, which is slated for sometime in the near future.
  14. Before I got back into building models, I would say "car" or "truck".
  15. This has been many, many, many years in the making. Finally starting to take shape.
  16. Yes sir, that is a gold '57 Chevy. Looking forward to seeing how this one ends up. I find gold to be a very fickle color.
  17. Wow, don't know what I did to bring this about, but thanks. I am following in the footsteps of someone that I can never hope to equal. Harry had a special knack for keeping things running smoothly. I am lucky that the members here bring things to my attention so that I can look like I know what I am doing. The real stars of the forum are it's members. The members who are quick to offer advice, answer questions and offer up that critical part that is needed to finish a model.
  18. My first impression when seeing this was Fury police car.
  19. I would start by making sure everything is open all the way, including the regulator. If it doesn't spray wide open, you know you have something defective. Make sure the tip is clear too.
  20. MegaHobby.com has fair pricing and fast shipping.
  21. There was only one comment that didn't directly address the original question, but it did expand on the previous comment of trying it on a spare piece of styrene (although stealing the spoons is not the way to do it).
  22. My wife has used heat on embossing powders in her crafting. She says it is what she does to "set" the embossing powder. She uses what she calls "special" adhesive with the powder. Working in small sections,I just use paint (roughly the same color as the powder I am using) and pour the powder onto it. Continue with small sections until everything is done. It stays in place very well when the paint dries. Modelers and crafters use embossing powders for different reasons. Generally, we don't mess with ours too much after the model is complete. Here is an example of embossing powder over paint.
  23. Actually, I guess you can say they are, since every member here has the ability to report posts. Unfortunately, some members chose to argue among themselves in the middle of someone else's thread rather than just reporting the posts so that the moderators can handle it.
  24. I believe this is the flyer sent out to the wholesalers/retailers. I don't think it is actually out yet (but soon will be).
