Unless you start paying Photobucket $399/yr no one else will be able to see your photos either. There are a few threads on this site about what they have done. You can still see them, but no one else can.
Not saying that it's the case, but maybe the license agreement included some stipulations that stated which vehicles get produced and in what order. This may be what needs to happen to get those other kits you guys are hoping for.
Nikon has a pretty substantial lineup of micro (macro) lenses: 45mm, 55mm, 60mm, 85mm, 105mm and 200mm. I do not have the 45mm or 85mm versions, but all the others are splendid lenses.
There are hobby lifts that only require a 4" thick slab. I will not be using one often, so a hobby lift will work fine for me. Surprised that no one has commented on the deer in the photo.
Yes, have to get below the frost line. Model area is staying in the basement of my house, but I may move my paint booth out into the garage eventually. Second floor will be for storage, so I can get some of the junk out of the house. This building is mainly so I have a place to store/work on my cars.
This is a pole building. Building is supported by posts about 6 feet in the ground. Concrete floor is poured after the building is up. I am getting a 6" deep slab throughout.
Garage is a little further along. I was finally able to speak with the Amish contractor who is going to do the concrete slab. Had to mail him a letter with my contact numbers and best times to reach me. I found that having to slow down and wait for a reply (instead of getting frustrated because I didn't get instant gratification) to be refreshing.
Just remember, a lot of wonderful models were built long before the internet became easily available. Where there is a will, there is a way. It is a shame that a lot of information is rendered nearly useless because the accompanying photos are no longer available.
I don't think this is a fair assumption to make. There are folks that are on a very fixed income and a free service that is offered by a company is a very nice thing to take advantage of. To call folks tightwads and cheap screws is not fair. The free account holders were not the problem. It is the folks that run ad blockers that finally took away the revenue stream that was keeping PB running as it was. Same problem exists here. How many of you are running ad blockers while on this site? That is money the Gregg could use to keep offering this site for free or putting towards the magazine. Should we call all of those folks names as well? How angry will you be if this site starts charging for use?
Just a reminder: Publicly selling or offering for sale is not allowed on this site. I do not think that is what happened in this case. Greg - I don't think everyone will get what the photo implies and I don't think it applies here. I have been watching this thread since it was first posted (and the one in the Trading Post where he mentions the kits he is looking for in trade).
