  6. I decided early on that this one was going to be built according to what I personally liked I also was too lazy to try to get it to replicate a specific chassis no. etc.
  7. Great job with this one, turned out fantastic!
  8. Thanks for the info everybody. I'm going to be building with the '66 Sebring 12hr Fujimi kit. It looks like it is packaged pretty much the same as the Fujimi '67 Daytona ver. with the extra sprue with rear fender extensions. Looking forward to starting in on this build this weekend.
  9. Many thanks to everyone for the kind words and looking in!

  13. Very interesting Gary! I guess thats what I will do as well. Thanks BTW, does anyone know if this car was painted Guardsman Blue or a different color?
  14. Thanks Art. Per your advice I’ll probably go with whatever generic yellow close to testors 1114 I’ve got in the spare box.
  15. Hi all, I'm planning on building No. 2 Shelby Ford GT40 mk II that raced at the 1967 Daytona 24 hrs using a Fujimi kit. From the ref. pictures I found below, the inside of the rear spoiler was painted an off-white/yellow? color. Does anyone know what this color actually was? Thanks!
  16. Thats a Big boy for sure. This should be a great build to watch

  20. Very nice and clean build. I really like the red w black wheels combo on this car
  21. Many thanks for all your comments. I just hand painted the striping with Tamiya flat black. Fortunately, the gap between the body/pillars and weather striping is actually wide enough to make painting fairly easy.
  22. Beautiful. The wheels look very nice on that car!
  23. Looks amazing. The body work is very nice!
  24. Thank you for all the comments everybody. Compliments much appreciated. I highly recommend this kit and the after market parts to anyone looking to build this great car. I’m planning to do a fairly quick curbside GT40 next before statrting on another red car I recently picked up...
  25. Great build! The fade looks very nice.
