  1. It seems that pickup trucks still rust around and above the rear wheel wells no matter how extensive the protection. I’m in the Maryland rust belt but global warming is going to cure that. We haven’t had a substantial snow in a while.
  2. My Hobby Lobby wraps packing tape around the cap and can so no one tests the color on the shelf. If the tape is broken then I don’t buy it.
  3. I haven’t tried epoxy yet but I’m guessing it would offer a longer working time and the “hold” would be much stronger.
  4. Might try using electrical wire stripping pliers
  5. I have just scrubbed them in warm water and dish soap before priming. I’ve used enamel and acrylic paints on them. The only difference between resin and plastic is the use of CA glue.
  6. I love getting history lessons in my spare time! Well done and I will be following this build.
  7. I build and finish on average, two kits a year. Maybe a dozen in the stash.
  8. Would have been ‘70 or ‘71.
  9. I thought I sent you a private message. Maybe I did something wrong.
  10. My family and I when I was about 10 or 11 years old went to Scranton Pa to visit the Auto World headquarters. It was a small store in an old gas station. They did put out a great catalog though.
  11. Looks like the oil filter on my flathead jeep engine.
  12. So what is the cost for the Chevy kit shown?
  13. What do the individual parts look like? Basically what and how many parts are included in a kit. Is there a chassis, interior, suspension etc?
  14. Again, I’m not looking to purchase an entire kit just to get a part or two from it only to create a “stash” of kits that will never be built and go in the trash when I die. The price for and the quality of the parts I’ve purchased from the vendors here have been superior compared to any part that come from a massed produced Chinese kit.
  15. Since someone mentioned the Olsen’s, what about producing the early Bronco items they carried. I believe it was the 1/2 cab, door fillers and the rear cut out flares.
  16. I didn’t see the wipers on your website. Are these going to be offered or was this a test?
  17. I’m going to place my bet here after seeing the fuel piping on the original LS engine I purchased. The detail is incredible.
  18. Art Deco at its finest
  19. I’ve had the best cuts using a fine tooth saw in a hobby miterbox.
  20. The model looks just like the 1:1. Now that magical transformation of the real car is amazing.
  21. Personally I would opt for the resin. I have never completed a model that required too much body work. If it means the difference of it setting on the shelf or put back in the box for the distant future, go with the new body.
  22. Winch with the fair lead will be great on Jeep models.
  23. Since what we do here is left to our imagination and creativity, it looks like the Intimidator will be in a next gen Camaro with a red chassis and Goodwrench sponsorship.
