  1. Welcome! Incredible engine detailing.
  2. Swear I saw a complete resin 911 engine on feeBay recently...... Look forward to watching this build.
  3. How about this sleeper, the 928 in Golf clothing.
  4. I would say that's a killer model!
  5. Very nice clean build! I have a few of these in the box still. If only there was a photo-etch rear wiper available......
  6. Spinach smoothie mixed
  7. Why do I put myself through steep learning curves? ?
  8. Where's that coupon?
  9. Super low humidity ("exceptional" drought conditions). I asked Splash what the problem is, they said 20-30 p.s.i. is needed. Painted Alclad, two different aluminum.
  10. Sorry, on my Auto Union C WIP.
  11. I was doing some research, found this cool Mercedes Benz W121 190D Ponton Pickup, never knew these existed. Found these on Pinterest: 190SLT Sport Wagon 190SL Renntech with Evod wheels I grew up with a '60 190 sedan. This has the modern 190 2.5 Evo running gear. This is when it was brand new, just before I was born.
  12. Been seeing many classic, vintage cars still, because we have such nice weather (if being in "exceptional" drought counts, cars stay cleaner). I usually don't have a chance to take pictures. The other day saw a nice Auburn or Duesenberg boattail speedster replica, could tell by the wheels. Today I saw this, which is driven around all the time. The Tesla had to drag race it. ?
  13. *edit* never mind, wrong topic. ? Used the Dupont this time with the black tonight. Will use the Testors for cleaning, screw it.
  14. with multiple piercings
  15. Yes, that's what happened. Thank you. Thanks for the input Kurt. BTW: That link didn't work for me. I've found that jelly problem too, so double confirm it's junk. I've been using Dupont 3602S acrylic lacquer, going to stick with it.
  16. You bet, equal on each side. ? First time I have used Splash Paints, two part primer. I must have done something wrong, hate the result.
  17. That looks too perfect! Great workmanship. Needs some mud and/or dust. ? Did the suspension need to be tweaked for the wheelbase?
  18. I can see the slight difference in the windshield. 95% of buyers won't care. Correcting that will get points in a contest, be sure the paint, chrome, wire wheels, tires, and everything else is perfect too!
  19. for plastic surgeons
