  2. I have two of those AMT kits, one is going to get built, the other I picked up from an estate, never saw this box art before. I never heard of Frog, learned something today.
  3. OMG was just thinking of this yesterday when I went to Phoenix. Many years ago I overheard a conversation, old man lawyer said not not sit on your wallet. Really helps!
  4. I recently used MicoMark rivet decals. I would not wish to learn the hard way about masking, but would think after you apply them over light primer, and then more primer before color, might work.
  5. Thanks. There was a time when jerks with bats would take out mailboxes.
  6. I had started Suitable kits for 'Ford vs. Ferrari' film to not step all over this thread about the movie. If the Admin team thinks these should be merged, by all means.
  7. My jaw hit the floor. ? Mailbox smasher, I live in AZ, don't get it. ?
  8. I had not heard of this museum, thanks for sharing your time an photos! Those reflector Route 66 signs are rare, to see all states like that is amazing. You have any idea if Dr. Pepper coolers were turquoise, or did the owner repaint it? I'm also looking at the Samsonite luggage......
  9. *Had to* get the Porsche, the MINI was only $5 because it had a note the roof was sawed off, no, it's made that way. Military cargo for trucks in my stash. And the magazine with coverage of a contest I attended, the race car I built.
  10. VINTAGE SODA COOLER 1/24 scale, includes resin box, vacuum-formed handle, steel wire, decal (chose "the real thing" or Royal Crown), instructions. US$20, plus shipping [west USA $3.66, east USA $4.06, Canada $10.50, Germany $14.25, other countries to be determined. PayPal available. Based on the TempRite Mfg. Co. steel cooler from the 50s. COKE_Cooler_instructions_ver2.pdf
  11. Thank you. Peteski made the decals for me. Just PM me.
  12. I finally put together this very complicated, multi media model of a vintage soda drink cooler. ? I made a Coca-Cola cooler before, happened to have almost correct decals. Now I have both versions of accurate decals, so I made this version for taking pictures to use in the instructions, and promotion. The box is resin, the lid handle is vacuum-form, and the handle is wire. So I have technically finished another model! ? It has an operating feature too. ?
  13. I'll back this idea. Have two cars that I've been wanting to build. They wouldn't win a real race, but with a different engine one would be a qualifier.
  14. Yea! I really want a Nissan Juke kit! ? "Modern cars" for the title, why didn't you put CHARGER and HELLCAT CHALLENGER in your title? There is a "pet peeve" topic, maybe I should add people who have super vague and useless titles for topics that a search won't work on. In the future, if someone wanted to search for this subject, your title won't help at all. For old farts like me, we have a stash of what was "modern" at the time we bought them, and now some are rare and collectible because it costs to continue producing them. For example the '72 Chevy pickup, run-of-the-mill pickup, now look at eBay prices. Add lawyer overhead, and license fees.
  15. Funny I read this topic earlier today, then I just saw this article: R&T: These Guys Just Drove an E63 AMG Across America in a Record 27 Hours 25 Minutes Gumball Rally is one of my favorite movies.... just sayin'.
  16. Forgot about this thread..... just driving downtown Prescott in my '69 Chevy pickup, a Ferrari in front.... oh wait, two ..... oh what's that on the right ..... oh wait, what's over to the left .... I confess, a friend called me: "You downtown?" Me: "No, why?" Him: "Bunch of Ferraris, more pulling in." ~click~
  17. I like different, and that looks pretty awesome! Checked out your Surplus - gas turbine powered '50 Ford F1 WIP thread, was that November of *this* year? ?
