  1. Excellent concept and execution! I love the Arizona license plate!!
  2. I'm glad you posted this tip. I noticed that too, so I learned something today. This is a very well done model! I love the color too, seems like turquoise wasn't invented until 1955. I have this kit too, looks very nice for an AMT, and yours is done!
  3. That must have been a fun project! The real car is very imaginative, so understand why you had to do this, congrats! I have the Monogram, and Revell kits, but my plan is to do a real wagon, not a Nomad.
  4. That '51 Ford Bronco is very cool. I recently got a resin conversion for the '51 - '52, to do my dad's '51, so that is still available. I have a 2016 Honda Civic Coupe, which looks huge compared to the '87 Civic. Wish they would resurrect the CRX theme.
  5. You are certainly welcome! I find it funny about photo-etch brake disks for carbon-ceramic applications, just isn't right. I built the Volvo BTCC wagon years ago, painted the disks flat black, and used a soft lead pencil to simulate the look. I need to look for your brake calipers and brake lines, that's crazy territory (like I'm not in any way). I've hated on Scale Motorsport c-f decals, so understand you not doing that. Appreciate you explaining what parts you scratch build, can't tell when painted. Rattle cans, keep me away from those!!!! Now I'm more impressed.
  6. I live in Prescott! The first forum I joined was the MINI Cooper forum (northamericanmotoring) in September 2005. When I was sitting at the computer, trying to think of a screen name, thought "where would I rather be, than here?" What came to mind was blasting over to Jerome on 89A, so I came up with 89AKurt, sort of curves off the tongue. Posted 12,295 times! Love to mountain bike ride, Sedona is almost as cool as Moab, Utah.
  7. Thank you for posting this. My two yen. 1:24 1974 Honda 600 Z Coupe (Hybuska engine optional) 1:24 Lamborghini LM002 2016- Honda Civic Coupe (EX-T, Si, R) They make the Honda sedan, the Coupe should be an automatic duh. There has only been a rare expensive resin pre-built of LeMooTwo. Because I own an EX-T Coupe. I should have said 1:24 scale, Honda sent me a tiny scale model but it's red, mine is pearl white.
  8. You are off to a great start! I have that kit, plus the Aoshima photo-etch parts. I have also just ordered the Fuelme metal detail parts from HobbyEasy, and am considering the Hobby Design detail set if it ever is available. I also want to get the proper carbon-fiber decals for the interior (someone has done this model on this forum). That should guarantee I will never build it. Are you masking/airbrushing interior parts, or brush painting?
  9. Ok, never mind, thanks. I wonder if they weren't wired too.
  10. Alright, I just want to know if those Arizona stickers came with the kit!
  11. Very nice job with weathering. I like the antenna, nice touch. I have that kit, someday.....
  12. The third Classic Chevy pickup I've seen tonight, I'm getting jealous that some are building this subject. I like the wheels you used much better too. Good to know about engine detail, just in case I get this kit.
  13. Second Classic Chevy pickup I've seen on this forum tonight. Great color, nice rims that mimic the spare wheel look, chrome looks great (Bare Metal?). I'm biased because I own a '69 C-10 long bed. Tempted to gather everyone's bed offcuts, and make a limo.
  14. Didn't know such a kit existed. Looks great! I'm amazed how huge Nissan pickups are now, and these are super rare to see on the road.
