I just pulled up a chair.... ðģ So there is a limit on curves, putty to the rescue.

Mercedes Benz had "safety" colors, sort of pasty pastels. I'm wondering what's up with matt bland grey or black on Rolls and such, Bat Man? My ex-wife asked if I noticed the new muddy colors, like it's from mixing up low bottles of Model Master military colors. Makes me want to repaint my '16 Honda Civic turquoise.

What did you see on the road today?

This was Saturday, I was checking out the Ditch Witch job, when this Tesla driver went over the temporary ramp over the hoses at "regular" speed, the hitch came undone and caught a water hose going across. We all started yelling STOP! I had to run up to the car and slap it to get his attention. I chewed him out for the workers. ðĪŽ -
I like how you sourced details and adapted. Almost looks like a map in the co-driver seat. ð The LED light bar is from where?

Pleased I can still motorvate and get rocks for the yard. Pleased I found this spot, that has tons of purple-red rocks, but found other cool rocks elsewhere. Pleased about the nice weather, if the forecast can be believed, it's going to be "bad" this Winter.

Diorama idea! âŽïļ I've been noticing many Cybertrucks are getting paint or vinyl wrapped. I don't remember Deloreans getting changed so much. ð -
Boring almost clear sky and windy yesterday. I had posted about this river crossing earlier when a mini flash food happened, it rained more since that day, lots of new rocks to harvest. Repeat today, 66šF mid morning.

Here is on, and OFF the road in one! And not just any car. ðģ It's at the top of Yarnell Hill on 89, going down this curve is almost a negative camber, plus a naturally squirrelly car, another Cobra was with them. Driving with idiots on the road too doesn't 't help. -

Had to expand on just "boring machine" otherwise no clicks or favs. ð I'm one of five on a local Water Improvement District board, with a Manager who does the 24/7 repairs, plus projects like this. Subcontracted out with a California company. Last Administration "IRA" grant money, that is administered through the County, found a huge leak under the highway to bypass. I watched a You Tube University video so now I'm an expert. ð I got the basic idea so I could ask not so dumb questions, and the guy running the rig was glad to show me. If you want a huge scratch-built project, this is it. Think of a drag race team, but super slow and muddy. ð Overall panorama of the whole job. This would make a cool diorama. Include the outhouse! ðĪŠ I bet everyone only sees the orange machine. This detects the beacon, to know where the drill bit is. This day it was pot-holing for the gas pipeline, 10 feet apart. Pinto is a local resident. ðĪŦ This generator is for the mud/lubricant trailer, to run several big pumps. A few hoses and cable run over the road. There is a backhoe, water truck and several pickups besides the actual machine. Two hydraulic vices to un/screw the pipe. The hoe had lifted the pipe rack onto the machine since I took this picture. This morning I went to the other side of the highway first. The drum and auger are for reaming the pilot hole bigger, then the water pipe is shoved through. With the temporary pipe that bypasses the old main under the highway, we have saved about 100,000 gallons a month. Yes, this old system was built when Studebakers were new, been losing about an acre foot a month. They ran into problems, had to restart a deeper hole. They are using the instrument to see where the tip is, about 12 feet deep now. Just thought someone would like to see such a project. Hope to get more pictures, but have a wedding to attend tomorrow (Sat.), they were going to work.

When I was in High School (last century), a class showed a film called 'Future Shock' (produced 1972, I can't find a whole production), which predicted that computers would make our lives so much easier, and would need to work only three days a week. Ordering model kits from around the world is nice, but ..... Back to the OT, hope you get this resolved pronto!

I would love to, but I live in rural AZ, and there are still some areas where NOBODY gets a signal because of no tower. Took only 3 trips down the highway to the analog store with kids working there (let the jokes about me being technically challenged begin), used their land line phone to talk to someone in Asia, managed to get my phone turned back on. Verizon totally screwed up. ðĪŽ At one point I needed to recall the four digit number when I got my account decades ago, somehow I pulled out the number, it was the license plate number for the car I had at the time! Otherwise I would be SOL. Good thing I don't live way out of town, or have to rely on it for work.

No toll roads in AZ, but I allegedly owed payment earlier this year. ð I just posted about how Verizon is screwing me. Yea, digital age, what fun.
