  1. How did I miss this till now? Very well done indeed. I've not paid much attention to late model Porsches (other than diecast) but these builds are really attention getting. Oh yes, I am surely going to borrow your wheel color technique. Thanks for sharing that.
  2. Yup Steve, my mistake and I have edited in the corrections.
  3. Super great input Rich. Thank you for sharing them. I was lucky to see the 2 Cs race at Mid Ohio.
  4. A recent post of a beautiful Chaparral model got me thinking about my old survivors, now dirty, glue marks showing, yellowed, and decades old. Chaparral 2 An unknown slot car body. Chaparral - AMT 2A Chaparral 2A - Cox Chaparral - IMC 2E Chaparral 1 - what's left of a Scudreria Scale body Come on Chaparral fans, let's see your survivors.
  5. Now that is a beautiful model!
  6. I have started using Krylon Workable Fixatif to spray the decal sheet and it seems to work well so far. I also copy the decal sheet so I can print it on new decal paper if I need to.
  7. I use only non-acetone polish remover. It is safer and works for me.
  8. Beautiful build.
  9. David is welcome to my Iso casting. It is pretty rough but the shape is not too bad. Patto has an Iso Grifo body listed but labeled as a '65.
  10. I really like where you are going with this Studebaker. Please keep us posted on your progress.
  11. Just arrived this 1946 Dodge Power Wagon Special Edition Ertl Collectibles in 1/25 scale. For $15 plus shipping with all paperwork and box I could not resist. As a new Air Force 2nd Lt in 1968 we had a Power Wagon Ambulance as our office vehicle.
  12. Both the Knobbly and Grifo were backfills of slot bodies though the Lister got a lot of mods to get the dimensions correct.
  13. Sorry but no Sebring programs. I do have a casting of a Lister Knobbly though that needs a good home.
  14. These are the only 2 Otaki I have and was pretty satisfied with each. The Corvette I had to modify to get what I wanted and the Capri I have yet to get around to paint and assembly.
  15. A little Snake-Fu on the '56 PU and it will be good to go. Always liked the '56.
  16. I like it Ray and what you have done with it. You stepped up to the challenges and did a fine build.
  17. What a treasure trove of photos. Just wish you could sort by year.
  18. Yup, that is what I figured.
  19. That is pretty amazing Pico.
  20. Just what the others have said, beautiful builds.
  21. I just found this white metal Gurney Westlake engine in my cleverly labeled Engine Kits box. It is larger than your kit engine and smaller than 1/24. It was produced by R&D Unique prior to becoming MiniExotics and has pretty good detail. The valve covers would need to be changed and it does have a dry sump. It is yours if you decide you can use it.
  22. I like the Judge a lot. Now tell us what we are looking at with the 442? Who made it and what scale is it, looks pretty big.
  23. I have never seen a 2E looks so good. The little bits really make it pop!!
