  1. Nice job, looks very convincing!
  2. Wow! What a difference. Nice save with a minimal investment. By the way, I like the "sink mark" on the rear it looks like it got dinged in the parking lot or maybe a run-in with the handlebars of a kids' bike.
  3. I use Rustoleum 2X Satin Black for interiors and chassis. Looks good to me and only $4.29 for a 12oz. can.
  4. Nice paint and I really like the seats. Yes, it certainly is slammed!
  5. Well done! You're right about the seams but the top looks great otherwise. Mopars look awesome in Sublime Green.
  6. Excellent job! Looks great!
  7. Nice looking Nissan!
  8. Outstanding work! I really like the color and the engine and chassis details as well as the interior are top notch!
  9. Well done, nice interior and the wheels really make it feel like a young man's first car in the 80's.
  10. Nice! Never seen a Corvair kit this vintage.
  11. Nice job!
  12. Thanks! No, the body is all one piece, but the panel lines were molded pretty deep, so it would not be hard to cut the trunk and doors open should someone be willing. I'm just not that daring with my builds yet, LOL. Thanks guys! The pics don't really show some of the miscuts and unevenness of the foil on the fenders probably due to the lighter body color. Tommy124's foil job is much better and cleaner than mine. I'm beginning to take it a little easier on myself on this one, but we are our own worst critics too, and I'm sure you guys do some pretty good foil work yourselves.
  13. I really like the color combo on yours and the fender chrome looks great. I actually thought about doing the same thing with making pre-cut stripes.
  14. Thanks guys, I was initially concerned about interior color, but it turned out pretty good.
  15. Great build! Gold really looks good on this vintage Corvette.
  16. Finished with build #2 for 2019. Revell 1962 Corvette Roadster in 1/25 scale. Color is Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green and cleared with Tamiya TS-13 Clear. The interior is done in Apple Barrel Khaki craft paint with a couple coats of DecoArt Duraclear Satin Clear to add a little shine because the khaki went on very flat. I had a hard time with the BMF on the tops of the fenders and am not 100% satisfied with it, but it will do for now. I did not do ignition wires on this one, even though I could use the practice, simply because of the nature of the engine compartment they would not be seen anyway. This was a great kit with a high parts count and was very well detailed. The decal sheet was excellent and included two sets of gauges and lots of other goodies to really make some of the finer details easy . Everything fit well and it was a very enjoyable kit to put together.
  17. Excellent build, great color!
  18. Outstanding!! Very clean build. Gorgeous color and great paint job, and great looking chassis.
  19. Looks great so far. Interesting and nice color choice.
  20. Outstanding!! Beautiful paint job and great color combination!
  21. Got the body foiled, though I'm not overly happy with it and might redo the tops of the fenders, and got the decals on. A few more touch-ups and the interior will be ready for assembly, same with the chassis, and the engine is ready to install. Not too sure about the seat belt decals on the seats. Those might have to go. Getting there.
  22. Nice looker! Well done!
  23. Very nice! Looks good in that color.
  24. I like it! Cool paint job! Those four look great together.
