  1. A fantastic looking, top notch build!
  2. They both looked pretty good before, but the Camaro really benefitted from the rebuild. I really like the color on the Firebird!
  3. Nice work! Yes, that is an excellent kit.
  4. Looks pretty cool! I like the weathering details on the sides of the car!
  5. I finished up the Revell 1968 Dodge Charger R/T yesterday. The paint is Model Master Plum Crazy Metallic Lacquer with Model Master Clear Gloss. The wheels were airbrushed with Molotow Chrome and are from Mad Modeling, while the front tires are from the kit, and the rears from Fireball Modelworks. The interior is a combination of Apple Barrel Gloss White for the seats and door panels, Stynylrez White Primer for the headliner, Stynylrez Black Primer for the carpet and rear shelf, and Apple Barrel Gloss Black for the dash. I used the optional 426 Hemi and cut and bent the exhaust to mate with the headers. I used BMF for the window and fender trim, and hand painted Molotow for the taillight panel trim. I added valve stems, door locks, and ignition wires for extra detail. This is an excellent kit with lots of extra parts, including an engine stand, to build the stock, custom, or drag version. I can definitely see myself grabbing another 1 or 2 of these in the future. Thanks for looking!
  6. Nice start! I've got one of those that I'm waiting until I have a place to display it before I build it. I did build one in the late 80's, but like all the other kits from my younger days, it's occupying a landfill.
  7. Looks good, I like the color.
  8. Nice job! I'm just finishing up the same kit myself.
  9. Looks great! Nice color choice!
  10. Very well done in a great color!
  11. Looks fantastic! One of my all-time favorite movie cars!
  12. Nice work! Great wheel choice with the steelies.
  13. That looks excellent! Well done!
  14. I got the trim foiled over the last two days, then put on the panel line accent and a coat of wax before installing the "glass". Then I put in the interior tub, and then added the chassis. I had already assembled the front and rear suspensions, and cut and bent the exhaust to match up with the headers, so those went on pretty quickly. I did have to grind down the front part of the rear suspension in order to get the wheels centered in the wheel wells. I also cut four small pieces of styrene strip to use as shims on all four rear suspension mounting points to set the ride height.
  15. I made a couple of failed attempts to fix the driver's 1/4 panel, so I finally did what I should have done in the first place and taped off the whole panel from the back of the door to the stripes. Thankfully, it was a success, and I can continue on with the BMF for the trim. I wasn't liking the longer shifter, which was meant for use without the console, so I cut it off at the boot and just after the first bend. I then glued the remaining part onto the boot and it's now a more reasonable looking shifter.
  16. Well done! An excellent build! I'm hopeful that this one is not far from a re-release.
  17. Interested in the Mr. Norm Charger, and possibly the '71 Mach 1 ( Is it essentially the 007 kit with a few different/extra parts/decals? ), but I'll probably just wait for the Revell offering.
  18. Very well done! I like the Tumbler as well, and this is a must get kit for me.
  19. Excellent job! Great color!
  20. Excellent build, and photography!
  21. Looks awesome! Very well done!
  22. Very nice!
