  1. Here's my little builds. Both are Monogram 1/32 snap kits. The Countach borrowed parts from the Malibu police kit and Chimneyville decals.
  2. I used to put videos together of when my friends would go offroading. A couple weekends ago we took a little day trip to some trails. A friend of my buddy gave us a tour of some fun trails so it's mostly following footage but I tried to make it entertaining enough to watch.
  3. Good 'ol local group. I found out about them in college. My roommate was really into music and found out our art teacher was Bob Stinson's ex wife. So they had a long conversation about their music and I was along for the ride. That same roommate (who is now one of my best friends) and I just saw Rammstein this past weekend and that group puts on an amazing live show.
  4. Great job on this kit. I bet it feels good to go through some terrible fitting parts and come out the other side with a great looking build. And those gold decals! ?
  5. I plan on being at the St Peter show.
  6. From my understanding these two are the same kit. Looking at the parts layout on the back of the AMT box it even has the extra offroading parts. Also, they are basically a lifted Syclone.
  7. I'm a bit of an S-Series fan so i geeked out over some of these offerings. Have the GMC baja pickup that i swapped with a Chevy grill to do a proper Baja S-10. Also have their mid 90s ZR2 pickup to build. The kits look really nice.
  8. Love it! Great color choice and very clean build. That red one looks wild too!
  9. It was a great show! Had a good time seeing and talking to some of you. Kiddo decided hanging out with grandma would be more fun but allowed me to bring her rainbow chevy. Yeah i watched that Van Halen pickup spin around for a good while checking out the details.
  10. Plans changed yet again. Ugh the suspense! The goofball and i should be there.
  11. This is a really cool build! We'll done!
  12. Well, wife made other plans. Maybe next year friends. ?‍?
  13. Got a little time this weekend in between getting ready for a work trip. Enough time to get some red down on the Mustang. Plus some spoons to test clear coats.
  14. Very nice work as usual. I really like the updates. Those Luminas still look mean.
  15. Every once in a while i get some time on the Xbox. I started playing Horizon 4 but mostly plug away at Horizon 3.
  16. Finally building at the new house. Claimed a little corner of the basement for my workbench. Going to be using Revell's 2006 Mustang GT kit to build a replica of a friends car. What I'm aiming for. Got a little color on it. Trying to use what I've got at the bench so tried "Wimbledon White" for the primer color. Not as gold or green as the factory primer but I think it'll be convincing under this small car. Using Dupli-Color cans as I don't have the booth and airbrush set up at the new house yet. Overspray pattern is a little heavy out of the can but again, it'll do just fine on a build that will rarely be flipped over. And white primer getting the body parts ready for some bright red paint. You can see the one sink mark I found on the driver door. Other than that the parts were really good.
  17. Rusty's MGD cars were one of the best looking on the track back in those days. Your build really does it justice. That black finish is flawless!
  18. Great build. I really like the updates you did to this kit. They really make your build stand out from the rest.
  19. Excited for the show! I missed the last two years.
  20. Plugging away at this ghost busting hot rod! Cut out this body detail to be relocated later. Then used some new bench tools to open up the rear quarters for the big drag tires. Never cut tire openings before. It's far from perfect but it's something I can work with. Need to adjust the ride height but she has the basic stance. Trying to keep the transformation simple but I'm getting fun ideas along the way. Also, my daughter has jumped on board and added more work to this project. ?
  21. Well, Looks like I will be getting some new Nascar kits to build!
  22. Here's what I came up with at the bench last night.
  23. That's awesome! Great paint technique as well.
  24. First time building a drag car. I had a Castrol Funny Car kit that I wasn't really feeling but the engine was perfect to spice this build up. I'm just mocking it up and not sure how much of the engine to show through the hood. The more cool engine bits are seen the more I have to make the rest of the underhood look functional. I really like the big coils on the front of the engine but would it be weird to cut an odd shape hole to fit tight around just the engine that sits above the hood?
  25. I like your progress. That color will be perfect for this car.
