  1. Wherever it ends up, I'll be watching. Awesome idea!
  2. Love the Aerocoupe! And that green and gold color combo is classic. Very nice build.
  3. Thanks! It's a really fun kit to build, goes together well except for a few fitment issues right at the end. They don't take away from the overall enjoyment of it, just takes a little extra patience to finish.
  4. Figured the time was right to build this kit, I've had it in my stash for many years. AMT release. Actually was able to finish it in only two months!
  5. Excited to see more progress on this! I've done very little work on the Countach. I started another project beside it and the new one really took off. Don't know why i haven't started a WIP thread for it though. F40 is looking good.
  6. Koo Koo Kar? Really?! How'd that get past the printer?
  7. Love the color and the style. Looks like it'd be a fun ride!
  8. Gotta love how awesome these simple kits can look! Here's a few of mine. Keep em coming!
  9. No worries. I'll be in a watch only mode as I get to be away for the whole month of June training for work. I was going to bring a Gundam model to snap together at the hotel but I just got a message from the seller that the label fell off and they got it back. They sent it right back out but it won't be here in time. Maybe I'll find a well stocked hobby shop nearby!
  10. Very cool build. What technique did you use for the blue window shade across the top? It looks perfect!
  11. I've wanted a Chevy SS Cup car on my shelf ever since I first saw one. I won't buy a die cast though. Can't put something on my shelf that I didn't build. I'll buy at least one and find an aftermarket decal set that looks cool.
  12. It's called attention to detail, and it is why this model is so cool! I love that movie but your model can stand alone without the sentimental value of its big screen inspiration. Very nice craftsmanship my friend!
  13. Don't know if "fancy foil" is what i got but I picked up a roll of foil used as a base for cakes. Think of a roll of Christmas wrapping paper amout of foil!
  14. Looking sweet! Good to see some progress in this thread. :-)
  15. Nutty in a good way, a very good way! Keep up the awesome work!
  16. Picked this up about a month ago. I really like it. Maybe I should have washed it before taking a picture though?
  17. I was going to post some pics of trails we drive that are along the edge of a cliff but they pale in comparison to the Lion's Back. That trail is no joke!
  18. If you're doing a custom F40, do a custom F40. I think it looks cool!
  19. That's way too cool to be the Revell snap kit! Very nice work, when I built that I never thought it would be possible to do opening doors. You did a great job!
  20. That's like when I put the 1/12 engine next to my 1/24! I started another house project so progress on the Lamborghini has slowed. But running up to the hobby shop today to get some supplies, so hopefully when I do get time at the bench I can get lots done.
  21. My dad told me never to loan anything out that I couldn't handle not getting back. I am a firm believer in quality over quantity when it comes to friends. I've met many people and have plenty of acquaintances, but only a handful of people I call friends.
  22. Love the color choice. The gold wheels really set it off too.
  23. That is gonna be sweet! We were planning on getting a bunch done at the bench last weekend but the weather was too nice.
