Thanks! It's a really fun kit to build, goes together well except for a few fitment issues right at the end. They don't take away from the overall enjoyment of it, just takes a little extra patience to finish.
Excited to see more progress on this! I've done very little work on the Countach. I started another project beside it and the new one really took off. Don't know why i haven't started a WIP thread for it though. F40 is looking good.
No worries.
I'll be in a watch only mode as I get to be away for the whole month of June training for work. I was going to bring a Gundam model to snap together at the hotel but I just got a message from the seller that the label fell off and they got it back. They sent it right back out but it won't be here in time. Maybe I'll find a well stocked hobby shop nearby!
I've wanted a Chevy SS Cup car on my shelf ever since I first saw one. I won't buy a die cast though. Can't put something on my shelf that I didn't build. I'll buy at least one and find an aftermarket decal set that looks cool.
It's called attention to detail, and it is why this model is so cool!
I love that movie but your model can stand alone without the sentimental value of its big screen inspiration.
Very nice craftsmanship my friend!
Don't know if "fancy foil" is what i got but I picked up a roll of foil used as a base for cakes. Think of a roll of Christmas wrapping paper amout of foil!
I was going to post some pics of trails we drive that are along the edge of a cliff but they pale in comparison to the Lion's Back. That trail is no joke!
That's way too cool to be the Revell snap kit!
Very nice work, when I built that I never thought it would be possible to do opening doors. You did a great job!
That's like when I put the 1/12 engine next to my 1/24!
I started another house project so progress on the Lamborghini has slowed. But running up to the hobby shop today to get some supplies, so hopefully when I do get time at the bench I can get lots done.
My dad told me never to loan anything out that I couldn't handle not getting back.
I am a firm believer in quality over quantity when it comes to friends. I've met many people and have plenty of acquaintances, but only a handful of people I call friends.
