I am 100% in agreement. Those in areas that get snow and cold during winter months and no garage are a bad fit in owning an EV.

If you can afford one and pay for the upkeep and service. All these EV coming out comes with a price - a very high sticker price. Who’s to say the average person will and can afford to buy them? Not very many. What then? Sure, it’s going to be a total nightmare owning EV automobiles. Charging times, availability of charging stations, getting stranded after running out of charge, repair bills including battery replacements (get ready to put out another mortgage to pay for it), having charging stations installed in your own home (imagine your electric bill and if your house has amperage to handle charging your EV), dependability of EV starting in cold weather climates during winter months, etc... So many issues that these green deal zealot folks pushing for electric vehicles often overlook and refuse to look at the negative side of owning such POS electric automobiles. Whats next? Banning gas powered lawn equipment? Rider and regular lawnmowers, weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, chain saws, etc... Even those electric lawn equipment are useless as watching a second coat of paint dry.

I get it. Regarding posting pit bulls and their reputation as fighting dogs is simply too little too late. Sadly and like it or not, they are put down if they’re not adopted after a certain length of time. Not just pit bulls but other animals.

That all depends. If most of the dogs are pit bulls (which most shelters do have up for adoption), I’d shy away from adopting one myself. Why? I don’t know what kind of home life they’ve had. I’m sure there are sweet pit bulls out there but their vicious reputation doesn’t help either. But hey... some folks like them.

I get it and understand the issue to those who suffered injuries due to accidents and such. But healthy folks... come on.

Not an irk but has humanity gone out the door? Motorized/electric bikes. What's the point of having them if you're not peddling to move? I don't get it. Has folks gotten that lazy and complacent to not do the work riding a bicycle? Bikes are great for exercise and pleasure all at the same time.

Krispy Kreme... Tim Horton’s.... even worse. Had them both and not crazy about them either. Locally owned mom and pop bakeries are always better than chain donut shops.

Dunkin Donuts…. BLEH! Dunkin’ Donuts aren’t what it used to be years ago. Never was a fan of their coffee either. It’s funny to see many folks in long lines of the drive thru for their iced coffee. We have a local bakery (Holland Farms) that makes awesome donuts and coffee.

And what’s wrong with another day off from work? It is a paid holiday off in the public sector. I work for the county and I get he day off with pay. Don’t be a hater. ROFL! I always use self checkouts I don’t have the patience to deal with slow cashiers and slow customers paying by cash or card. Then top it off slow cashiers having to bag their groceries. I’ll bag my own groceries thank you very much. Folks today - especially teenagers don’t know how to properly bag groceries without crushing anything. Plus I don’t have to worry about paying cash for my purchases. I’d rather pay by debit card/credit card. The only time I pay cash is for gas for my car.

Today’s folks - especially young families who have zero clue what Memorial Day is about. Tonight, someone in my neighborhood was shooting off fireworks because it’s Memorial Day. I mean who shoots fireworks on Memorial Day? I find it disrespectful and distasteful. Am I wrong to feel this way? Or is it folks today don’t understand the true meaning behind Memorial Day.
