  1. You can post an ad here under "wanted" to trade for the decals you're looking for.
  2. That doesn't need restoration, it looks great as it is! It's amazing how it's held up for 36 years.
  3. That looks great as a 2 door! Chrysler missed a golden opportunity for that. I heard that the basic structure came from the old Mercedes 190E (when they were owned by Mercedes). They never had a 2 door, so that would explain why this one didn't either.
  4. I love builds like this! Problem for me is, whenever I try to build one, I end up wanting to restore it.
  5. Seems to me a RAT Fink version would be more appropriate. ?
  6. Have the photos you want to share saved in a folder on your computer or phone. Then, while your text box is open on this forum, click on the "add files" button underneath here ? and path to the folder on your computer or phone with the pictures, click on them one at a time and attach them to the document when they are complete.
  7. Bravo! Your pictures make it look intimidating even though it's not moving. For me, this is a family movie that we like to watch many times throughout the year and you've captured the essence of the beast! I keep looking under the truck trying to see if there are cowboy boots walking around, kicking the tires.
  8. Looks like it got stepped on. Amazingly, through all of this destruction, the glass wasn't even cracked!
  9. Classy! You need to add the first two pics to the "Glue Bombs" thread over in General Automotive Talk. If that isn't a great save from a glue bomb, I don't know what is.
  10. That's the fun part of building a glue bomb, Gems from Junk!
  11. PM sent Update - John can't send you any messages. PM me.
  12. Keep plugging away at them, they look like they have potential. That Lambo's glass might be a bit of a bear, though.
  13. Keef, dude you scored!! A collectible store who didn't know what they had.
  14. Sometimes there is no other choice, one of the two parts is going to have to be sacrificed. If it's glass stuck to the roof, you might have to use a Dremel to carefully grind the glass away from the inside. Try to decide which part is irreplaceable and cut away the replaceable part. I have had to rebuild damaged parts where they broke. Point is, minimize the destruction, plan your course of action and go slowly. No sense destroying the whole car just because your in a hurry. I had a friend who did that with a Johan 70 Toronado. Destroyed the whole thing!
  15. Yes it's open and a far better representation of the OEM than the one on the "Firestone Super Stones" F350 Camper Special. Also, IIRC the grill should fit the pickup. I plan on buying a few of these Broncos and trying to use parts to kitbash a proper F150 dentside pickup without the long wheelbase and the oversized rear wheel openings. Haven't decided on a LWB or SWB yet. ?
  16. Supposedly due in Nov. 2021 according to Model Roundup
  17. Just found this on Model Roundup. Due this month. Haven't heard anything about it before. There is also the "Foxy Box" Chevy van, which I posted on Truck kit news and reviews.
  18. It sure looks good. I had an old Chevy with the original paint on the engine and after age, heat cycles, mileage, oil and dirt, the paint looked just like yours does. Only thing different is, after so many years, the paint tending to flake off in places.
  19. I agree with what everyone else has said - colors look authentic. I'd like to know what orange you used for the engine? It's much more toned down than common Chevy orange (at least from restored engines) and not as glossy, giving the assembly a much more "in scale" and original look. Me likey!!?
  20. FYI, the chassis from the 62 fits and it's a great conversion! Keep on going.
  21. 43 replies since he posted this 3 hours ago. If you guy's are so sure he's just trolling, why feed his ego with responses? "Just say no".
  22. From what I can see, possibly three (but two would be lousy). The other two would just be pipe dreams. Unless they can find the 68 Cougar tool!
