  1. Wasn't that one in Pixar's Cars 2?
  2. Yeah, but I'd rather have the stock Matador kit.
  3. Plus tax! It is a luxury, right?
  4. Almost looked like a third world country, watching that old Plymouth (I think) just pull out and almost hit the main car Chevy and then couldn't even stay in his own lane, he was all over the road! I thought for sure he was going to crash into something. People walking all over a busy street, standing in the middle, cars and motorcycles passing anywhere they felt like
  5. Think Revell will send me replacement decals due to water damage?
  6. When I first heard of this kit, I thought it was this one. Box art told me otherwise.
  7. Get ahold of a couple "distressed" examples and do a build up swap. I'd like to see them both!
  8. That's a nice ride. Where'd you get the hubcaps?
  9. That's a great job! And thanks for including pics of the real one. I'd never heard of it before.
  10. That color looks dynamite on the Mustang! Look at how it accentuates and highlights all the lines and curves. Ford missed a perfect opportunity not using that color! They could've called it "Platinum Sand" or "Regency Gold" Very classy color.
  11. ??? I don't get the correlation, but I'd gladly take the money in any form I could get it! Off topic - I hope Atlantis got all the motorcycle parts packs. In one box, that would be worth a "million bucks" to me!
  12. Until electric cars soak up 100% solar power, they still have to plug into power stations connected to Edison, which still uses fossil fuel to run it's power plants. So just because the car companies say they're "green", the energy to make them move still has to come from dynersawers!
  13. Been a while since I've looked in mine, but AFAIR, all 3 above had the bumpers. But the pastel ones didn't have stock wheels.
  14. Not sure, but weren't there seats like this in the old tool Revell beetle? Or even the Imai Super beetle kit?
  15. I like it. I don't know who cast it. But why is it so swirly? In my experience, when 2 part epoxies and resins are not mixed thoroughly, you get inconsistent moldings. And some parts are solid while other parts never harden, remain forever sticky or even shrink. I'd be reluctant to buy and build something that looks like this, for fear that all my efforts will be wasted. Is this a completely cured piece? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
  16. Thanks Kevin, you helped me a while ago, glad I could return the favor!
  17. There was a set in the old MPC Ford van kits. Oh how I wish Round 2 could find that tool and make a Coke version of it!
  18. If they can resurrect the Cutlass, Nova wagon and an International truck - then fixing this baby would be a piece of cake! And with the technology they're using, they wouldn't even have to ruin the Sweathog's body tool to rerelease the stock GP. Everything else is already there!
  19. I remember when the Doppler Radar was a new thing and they said it would revolutionize the news forecast accuracy. Guess somebody forgot to plug it in. The forecasts are just as wrong as they ever were. Amazing how so much new technology doesn't improve the outcome. Might as well look out the window and take a guess for yourself.
  20. Great trade from MkII. Got here in 7 days - from Canada! That's a miracle!
  21. Colors look spot on! Very realistic.
  22. I've been looking for one of those "Ghost of General Lee" kits for some time now. You wouldn't happen to be interested in trading it for a regular GL kit, would you?
  23. My comments are, "They all look great - Funman!" ? Was this the Salton Sea boat you're talking about? Cream Puff? https://www.riverdavesplace.com/forums/articles/salton-sea-monsters-part-1.733/
