  1. +7C right now and it’s supposed to get up to +17C this afternoon. Might have to take the MX-5 for a spin.😎
  2. Horrible glue bombs can present quite a challenge to resurrect.
  3. The trim and paint finish look great and you did a marvellous job on the wheels too.πŸ‘
  4. Ooh! That color looks gorgeous on it! Nice work.πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  5. I got the foiling done and the body and chassis mated. I used some photo etch seat belts instead of the kit pieces. The wire door handles turned out better than I hoped.πŸ™‚
  6. Amazing how a clear coat brightens up that red!πŸ™‚ Behind the clear outer headlight covers Fujimi just gave us some flat chrome headlights. I had some spare clear headlight lenses so I glued them in over top of the chrome ones. I think they look a lot more realistic now. I gave the badge decals a few coats of microscale liquid decal film since the guage ones disintegrated on me and managed to get them on with minimal damage.
  7. This blower has one coat of Revell Chrom straight from the can. Not sure how long I let it dry…but then it was dipped in pledge twice. The wheel has the kit chrome for comparison. BMF on the left and Chrom with a pledge dip on the right. More info here: https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/181804-revell-spray-chrome-test/page/7/
  8. Fenders or no fenders on a β€˜32 ford is always a dilemma.
  9. So I shot some black primer on the backside of the rear walls and covered it with some self adhesive shelf liner to give it a bit of protection. It looks good enough to me. I made some shelf brackets from a piece of 1x1 square tube and added some 1/16” foam gasket for the two new shelves to sit on. It should take me a while to fill this one up now.πŸ™‚
  10. Got a new chemical dispensing bottle for the Mr. Color thinner. it was getting difficult to reach the thinner with a pipette. I’ve drilled a 1/8” hole in the lid of all of these bottles so that they won’t accidentally squirt when I pick them up. I need to put my finger over the hole in order for them to dispense.
  11. And another fine job!😎
  12. Beautifully done Glen!πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  13. Beautiful looking β€˜37 Bob! Real nice job stuffing that big block in there!😎
  14. Pigpen went to school with Charlie Brown
  15. Thank you all guys!πŸ™‚ I got a couple of blemishes on the body and around my hinge mounts fixed up well enough so got some primer on it the other day. Then yesterday I gave it a few coats of Vallejo red. I am heading out to the garage later this morning to shoot some clear on it.
  16. Snack on that rat all you want…I’m sticking with smokies.
  17. Nice stance you’ve got there now Jay. And great work blending in that GTO roof.😎
  18. Really cool projects!😎
  19. Nice work so far. The engine looks especially nice.πŸ‘
  20. Right about now the moderators are thinking this could go south.
  21. Assayed…..yo’ Mama could sit AROUND the house!
  22. Neat idea! I need one with laser-tracking abilities that can pinpoint the location of the part that just launched across the room.πŸ₯΄
