I got the foiling done and the body and chassis mated. I used some photo etch seat belts instead of the kit pieces. The wire door handles turned out better than I hoped.π

Amazing how a clear coat brightens up that red!π Behind the clear outer headlight covers Fujimi just gave us some flat chrome headlights. I had some spare clear headlight lenses so I glued them in over top of the chrome ones. I think they look a lot more realistic now. I gave the badge decals a few coats of microscale liquid decal film since the guage ones disintegrated on me and managed to get them on with minimal damage.

This blower has one coat of Revell Chrom straight from the can. Not sure how long I let it dryβ¦but then it was dipped in pledge twice. The wheel has the kit chrome for comparison. BMF on the left and Chrom with a pledge dip on the right. More info here: https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/181804-revell-spray-chrome-test/page/7/

Milsbo glass door cabinet-extra shelves??
NOBLNG replied to Safire6's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
So I shot some black primer on the backside of the rear walls and covered it with some self adhesive shelf liner to give it a bit of protection. It looks good enough to me. I made some shelf brackets from a piece of 1x1 square tube and added some 1/16β foam gasket for the two new shelves to sit on. It should take me a while to fill this one up now.π -
Got a new chemical dispensing bottle for the Mr. Color thinner. it was getting difficult to reach the thinner with a pipette. Iβve drilled a 1/8β hole in the lid of all of these bottles so that they wonβt accidentally squirt when I pick them up. I need to put my finger over the hole in order for them to dispense.

Thank you all guys!π I got a couple of blemishes on the body and around my hinge mounts fixed up well enough so got some primer on it the other day. Then yesterday I gave it a few coats of Vallejo red. I am heading out to the garage later this morning to shoot some clear on it.
