  1. Point me in the right direction because I have no idea where I am going.
  2. Nice score! Things do not go on sale like that here in Canada.πŸ˜•
  3. I put a slightly shortened toilet paper tube over the bottle so the mixer doesn’t spray paint everywhere when I pull it out.
  4. I am no paint expert, but I prefer lacquers. They dry quick and can be re-coated pretty much anytime. My advice for a newbie would be to stick to paints and primers made for hobbyists. You didn’t say where you paint, apartment, house, garage? If you have a space where you could use an airbrush, it opens up a whole lot of paint options that aren’t available in rattle cans. That said…yes you can get excellent results from rattle cans.
  5. Here is a link to a tool I made for scribing trim. https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/140583-trim-scriber/
  6. That might be too much? I’d just put one or two lavender pleats in two or three places. Just enough to break up the expanse of white? JMO.😎
  7. Scott, that engine looks fabulous!πŸ‘
  8. I thin this with lacquer thinner and keep it ready to go in one of my Paasche H jars. I use my battery powered mixer to stir it before use. If it has thickened up from sitting awhile, I just add a bit more LT.
  9. Windows won’t need replacing anymore if you answer the door in the buff.
  10. How about the styrene tuck-n-roll with some sort of purple accents?
  11. You could fit some massive speakers in that package shelf 😈 (see how I’m sticking with your purple theme).
  12. Building models is not as much of a priority when the summer weather beckons you to head outdoors.
  13. β€œIt” is a novel by Steven King about a demonic Clown named Pennywise.

That is the reason that I moved the fenderwells from the chassis to the body. I should have mentioned it sooner.
  15. Shirt and shoes required if you want to get served in this establishment.
  16. The primer does not β€œsoak in” to the plastic. In my understanding, the dyes can leach out and tint the primer, and it can leach out further to tint the paint if a sealer of some sort is not used as a barrier.
  17. It looks great! I did my β€˜41 Chevy pickup in Premier Colonial Red and it goes down nice. I got a little bit of crazing from the Testors gloss that I used over it.

I think your upholsterer did a fine job!😎 A little late to mention now, but I cut those inner fender wells off the chassis and added them to the body.
  19. Beautiful clean build Chuck. It’s got attitude and the muscle to back it up!πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  20. Wow, that is one beautiful looking Bronco! I would be proud to drive that around.πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  21. Thanks John.πŸ™‚ Thank you Mike.πŸ™‚ Thanks Stuart. I hope to get it under glass in the very near future.πŸ™‚ Thank you Rafael.πŸ™‚ By all means, dig it out and get back at it.😜
  22. Love that engine!😎
  23. Great start Eric. I like the tilt front end idea.πŸ‘
