  1. Thanks for the info Mark. I see what you mean about the gap. However lowering the floor would mean the step-up on the chassis would now interfere with the rear seat footwell.? It’s more work than I care to get into.
  2. Do any re-issues of this kit have the proper interior for a coupe? Anyone here corrected the kit part…not an easy task.?
  3. Beautiful work Glen!? It looks like a factory job.?
  4. Just found your build thread Curtis, so I had to zip over here for a look at the finished product. I gotta say, It’s a real beauty!? Fantastic work on all the details, and the colours look great together. Well done.?
  5. Monsters under the bed are a common childhood nemesis.
  6. I agree, beautiful color!?
  7. The paint job looks beautiful John!?
  8. This is coming along very nicely Bob.?
  9. Sharp looking interior!?
  10. Thanks, I never would have guessed that.?
  11. A head transplant should be a simple operation.? Seriously awesome work going on here. The cream and maroon colour scheme sounds nice.?
  12. This came in a box of parts, and I’m just wondering what it might be from. Thanks, Greg.
  13. In honour of Snake45, I decided to strip the completed engine and paint it the proper color. I added a few extra details other than the plug wires that I had already installed, like some fuel lines, breather hose, alternator bracket and PS hoses. The PS pump is still hanging out in the middle of nowhere, but not too noticeable after installation I hope. I borrowed the chrome valve covers from a Polar Lights ‘64 GTO since I had stripped the originals.?
  14. Victimhood is a state of being in which I prefer not to partake.
  15. Beeuutiful paint job!
  16. Cool looking project!? I haven’t seen one of these kits before. My wife has a 2014 JKU with a manual trans and I love it. I’m not going to let her trade it in when she’s ready for another vehicle.?
  17. I hope the OP either passed the kit on to someone who can do it justice, or decided to take his time and gain some skills before attempting to build it…I guess we’ll never know.?
  18. Strip the paint job AGAIN I did in order to start over.
  19. Excellent work on the conversion Tom!? I owned two of these in my younger days. I was my Dads, and the other I bought from a buddy. Both had the 250 six and 3 in the tree.?
  20. My favourite generation of Chevelle…and you did a very nice job of it!??
  21. Pieces that go missing…are by the carpet monster gobbled.
  22. I don’t recall where I got it Dave, but I’ve had it for about six years. For sure either from a club member or one of the flea markets here. It’s possible I guess…I have a really bad memory.? Anyways, thanks for the vote of confidence.?
  23. Pinecone designs is the name of my scale paint shop.
  24. Yes…so far. I kinda like the look, but I haven’t looked through my very limited stash of which and tires to see if I have anything nicer.
  25. Some door handles are molded so poorly that they can’t be modified accurately….so it’s either live with them or replace them.? But if they are real nice it is relatively easy to fix them. It does take a steady hand, a sharp eye (6x cheaters?) and sharp tools. And the satisfaction is priceless.
