  1. Nice work so far. The engines look good.? I built the Crew Chief Blazer and yeah….there are some scale issues.?
  2. Wrong assembly techniques lead to glue bombs and glue bombs frequently get abandoned.
  3. Fingers are not by chance the same caliber as your nostrils.
  4. BorgWarner made some great transmissions.
  5. That color looks great on it. What paint did you use?
  6. They got one of the door hinges already too.? I can’t imagine a 10 year old kid building this kit.?
  7. Action figure craze may have been started by Gumby?
  8. Yes that is as far as I got. I think the door fits pretty good and the gap looks OK as is. There is already a lip on the top half for the door to sit against and it just needs to be extended down the latch side. The front edge might need a thin piece added inside the body for the door to be glued to. The only bad spot is the corner at the cowl which may need some backing or filler?
  9. Move your finished model onto the shelf and grab another box.
  10. Beautiful work!?
  11. I thought the same when I got this kit and started to glue the doors shut. The door gaps are not too bad so with a few reinforcements on the inside, they should look OK. I gave up on it because I’m not a huge fan of these trucks.
  12. You’ve got nothing to lose by trying a repair. I would likely try some Tamiya thin if you can press the cut shut enough so it bonds…and let it dry very well before proceeding. Thin CA would likely work also. You will need to be extra careful when shaping it now.
  13. Search my memory so often that I wish I could google my noodle.
  14. Thanks Mike!? That got me looking in the right era. It’s from the ‘31 Model A Sedan Kit. The two round pieces are the custom seat pedestals. Don’t know how they managed to get out of the box.?
  15. Got a package from Amazon today and it was an empty envelope.?
  16. Can anyone tell me what these might be from? Thanks, Greg
  17. I use a #220 sanding stick to do regular tires and then a stiff stainless steel brush to do the recessed area of the treads.
  18. Chainsaws are a vital piece of equipment after a hurricane.
  19. Each and every time I open a new kit and start researching the subject, the squirrels intervene and I go down a rabbit hole.
  20. Test my patience some of these model kits do.
  21. Rear glass shaved down and package shelf finished. I’ll have to remake the rear deck hinges, but I was likely going to have to do that anyway.
  22. No, when I snapped this single picture I had no idea there was anything odd about it. I am inclined to think that it was either a rust repair/modification, or just a customization. I wish I had taken a picture of the rear to see if it is a modified stock bumper or something else.?
  23. Mind your P’s and Q’s is short for pints and quarts, in other words…don’t drink too much.
