Thats what i see, i dont have this kit yet but its in the que to add to the stash.Im thinkin try to cut the bumper off the tail lights and remove the extra space?Lookin forwad to see how folks handel this.

I am just starting on the AMT 67 Impala SS and was looking up reference pics when i noticed that the grills are all not the same for that car. What i am wondering is which version would i copy to be factory correct,or was the difference related to the color of the car I am referring to the part of the grill to the outside of the headlights,some are black and some are white.

I tried this and the results i achieved were not as good as in the vid but it was far better than anything i have done without polishing -

No holes yet,i put an oven thermometer next to the model and the reading went to 150 degrees,i dont think the air temp as that high but after 4 hours under it today the paint is completely dry

This is a little rig for drying i can use from about May through September round these parts Any one else have any home brew devices for modeling?

Heres a fresh build from the dungeon,paint is Testors purple met flake over black primer.I did'nt like the fit of the kit front tires on the rims so i used some tires from the extras box,lowered he rear about .03 and the PE is from Model Car Garage.The engine detailing is from various wire and turned a coil out of steel.,dont care for the plug wires though cause they scale out at almost .75? I was pleasantly surprised with the detail in this AMT kit for a change. Commits welcome and thanks for lookin!

I put blast gates on the T , and the vent motor will blow any dust out the vent. I burned a stick of incense to see how it draws and was impress witht he results. Gonna paint some enamel later to see how it dos with that testors aroma
