You know Jason I have to agree that the Ghibli is one of those best of the best looking cars. For me, depending on the day, Its a toss up between the Ghibli and the Muira. I think the only reason I did not mention it in my top 5 was because the wind was blowing Muira that day. Seeing your Ghibli swings the pendulum a bit today though. What an absolutely beautiful car. So....make this easy. If I had to pick 2 classic exotic cars well it;d be the Ghibli and the Muira. Or the Muira and the Ghibli...depending on the day LOL

I thought the same exact thing ! I'm guessing its not his first time driving it LOL

hmmm ok yeah I read that. I guess I just figured this was model related... So given that this is an easy list for me... 67 Shelby GT 500 Lamborghini Miura DeTomasso Pantera pre-plastic bumper Ferarri California 2014 Corvette

Here is my 5. It's hard to pick only 5 and every day it might change except the first 2... I will say that with the upcoming Mustang Notch back release and the Fujimi Pantera that filled (2) of my wished from what would have been last years list. 1). 1967 Ford Galaxie. We soooo need this in scale. 2). Jaguar XKE. An all new tool...coupe or convertible (though if I had to pick it;d be the coupe). Now for me, from here on the list is subject to change LOL 3). 32 Ford Tudor chopped and Zframed. You know I think Revell has a real winner with the 1949 Merc...for all of us who wanted a chopped coupe but could never do one, that was perfect. I'm thinking the same idea with a chopped and lowered 32 ford. Could release several body versions on the same frame and engine... 4). 1968 Mustang California Special. Amy I right ? I mean who doesn't want that right ? hahaha 5). A corrected Revell 1969 Mustang Here is the thing...that's already a good kit. Actually a great building kit but the nose is just WRONG. The key to this is they really only have to redo the nose since that's all a separate piece. Since the 69 fake side scoops are already a separate piece, they could cast another piece that would make it flat like the Boss 302. So from that tool all they have most of the parts to make a Boss 302 version. New 302 engine new non Mach 1 dash and interior...and you have a 302. Yeah I know you'd have to fill in the gaps on the body to make the 302. but most of today's market is an adult builder right ? Anyway...that's #5. For today anyway .

Paint Strippers - What to Use?
Jeff Johnston replied to pbj59's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
My stripper of choice is Polly S Easy Lift off. It has never failed me. You just paint it on with a wide brush and let it sit. Sometimes it takes a couple applications. Also Castrol Super Clean is another good alternative as well as East Off oven cleaner....and not the lemon scent oven cleaner. The original easy off. You can try to sand it smooth and paint it again. Try easy lift off. Usually available in hobby shops. I assume its available in Australia, but if not I do know Easy off overn cleaner is. If you use oven cleaner, spray it all down and put it in a freezer bag. -
Looks great Art. If everyone could only see the chassis hint hint lol

Fiat 500 Gets A Makeover
Jeff Johnston replied to MikeyB08's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
eew... not pretty. It's like you has this really cute little girlfriend in high school with that image stuck in your memory, and 20 years later you see her and she looks like that Fiat... -
WOW you are a building mashine ! Plus...look at that paint work !

that's so nice !

Issue #175 came yesterday..
Jeff Johnston replied to Rob Hall's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I like both magazines but you should subscribe. Lots more content in Model Cars and IMHO just a better magazine. I'm not just saying that because we are "here"... I read both magazines cover to cover at least twice every time. But MCM really is worth subscribing to. -
Wow this thread lasted like what ? 4 months ? LOL I think Revell announced not too long ago a Mustang Notchback (and I cheered out loud I think) and a finally corrected 70 Cuda (Hemi if I recall). I'm waiting for those, especially the Mustang. I'm hoping to get a peek at NNL east like they did last year with the 62 Corvetter and 57 FOrd

1/24 BMW i8 kit completely 3d printed
Jeff Johnston replied to Lownslow's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I think one day we'll see 3D printing as a regular thing in our hobby. I can't wait until that day, but I venture a guess its still 15 years out. When someone can print kits and sell them for 30 - 04 bucks a piece that's when it will take off. That is one wild looking car though. I kinda like it. -
Those "DUH" Moments...
Jeff Johnston replied to MikeyB08's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Geez Tom that's not a DUH moment, that's a gift ! I can't count how many times I get all ready to BMF and DUH...I have no new blades ! Then I go to my local Wal-Mart to get some blades..and they have none. I swear there is another model builder in my town buying up all the #11's at Wal-Mart ! -

New Retro E-Type Jaguar design.
Jeff Johnston replied to Custom Hearse's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
AAAHHHH !!!! Come on Powerball ! Come on Powerball ! I think this is a beautiful tribute to the original car. I'm a big XKE fan and it pains me that we don't have a "good" version in 24/25th scale. Yeah, I know the old Revell and the Monogram kits, and I've built them... but I'd sure like a modern tooled XKE. Anyway...yeah. I love this.... -

Same with that ridiculous Bachelor show. Though...my wife likes Chasing Classic cars and Wheeler Dealers, 2 of my favorite shows. JJ
