Got some cotton balls for applying Pledge/Future and some brushes.

Now that I got my jaw picked up off the floor, WOW! That is so cool!

Got the chassis, seats, dash, and interior bucket painted flat black. I spray painted the exhaust system with Krylon ColorMaster Brilliant Aluminum. I had the engine painted, but wasn't happy with how it turned out (the humidity was a little too high to paint outside. I found that out after I brought the engine back in...).

Sounds good! I’ll be building a semi box stock 2010 Shelby GT500 in Gulf Livery.

I recently got word that two of my Great Aunts are coming in from Germany on the 26th. They’ll be staying about 2 and a half weeks. One of them I’ve never met, and I haven’t seen the other one since I was about 4 years old.

I always used the “real” tube glue (until I discovered superglue), but I have experienced the blue tube lemon scented semi-bonder for a build or two. I found an unopened tube of the old Orange Label model glue in a box of my Dad’s old model building tools. It very well could be a collector’s item.

Gary, your approach to model building is similar to mine. I find fun in building and painting model cars. Most of the stuff I build is box stock. Some models I’ll use thread for spark plug wires, some I don’t wire at all! To me, the main reason to build model vehicles is to HAVE FUN. I know that some builders enjoy making their builds highly detailed, and I certainly enjoy seeing their amazing work. It is however you like to build models - just keep it enjoyable.
