    my guess is the majority of its fabricated. it is an interesting story, reminds me alot of the story with James Dean's Porsche.

    Some musician or movie star will end up with it in a collection. i remember seeing where some new age rocker bought Ted bundys VW.

    Since i have gotten back into the hobby i have found i like to restore them more than building a new kit.. These are all some great rebuilds!!!
