  1. Very nicely done. I need to add that kit to my wishlist.
  2. Nice job! I am hankering to get the 64 Galaxie Cal racing Combo and do a Thunderbolt instead of the AWB Falcon on the trailer.
  3. My 6-32 mounting hardware came in so I spent the afternoon building the ceiling with the LED light fixtures. I soldered every connection to prevent issues.
  4. My Boss 351 got some new shoes yesterday. I spent 4 hours on my mini-lathe and made a pair of custom rear hoops to seriously upgrade the rear tires. I am quite pleased how they "turned" out.
  5. Made another pair of hoops to upgrade my 1973 Mustang BOSS 351.
  6. ooooh! I like that! Do you have a WIP link?
  7. Well done. I would be proud to add it to my display case.
  8. Yes share pics of your wheel options. We will all put in our 2 cents worth to help. Though you can't go wrong with well detailed Corvette Rallys
  9. I would also be interested in what you learn. I have a back burner project which will require a modern roll cage in a 69 Camaro. I do have a NASCAR kit as a donor.
  10. They look great. Much improved. Since you have upped the detail level by adding brake lines, may I suggest you gently sand the tread on the tires to give them a more realistic look.
  11. I too foil decal then clear as soon as possible. Foil does not like been handled very much. Especially if it is old and the adhesive is weakening.
  12. I know the car is semi-famous. Do you have a pic of the engine you are looking for?
  13. I decided to upgrade my diorama with some LED lighting to improve my pictures of future builds. I made a quickie mock up to see how they would work. While bright enough, I learned that I need to have some of them near the front edge to make the foreground light the viewer's side of any vehicles inside.
  14. Yes! What everyone above said.
  15. I am with you brother! I avoid sanding as I always make things worse not better. I can accept some orange peel much more than sand-through and repaint. I have had pretty good results on paint directly on plastic. Molded plastic is about as smooth as it gets. It is only a bummer if there are sink holes.
  16. Very nice! I painted mine with the same color.
  17. Very nice build and pretty color.
  18. Thank you very much for sharing your techniques. I will make the effort with the materials I have. I have pre-drilled the valve covers and also the heads. Mt distributor looks a bit sad but it is already glued in. Wish me luck!
  19. I like the idea of adding an end mill. Just do not have space where I currently live.
  20. Very impressive result. I am a WJ fan too.
  21. How did you make the boot seals for the ignition wires into the valve covers? I need to attempt something similar for my 427 Cammer.
  22. Very nice. I would like to make a replica one days as well.
  23. I live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The rain and the rich soil here permits the farms to grow pretty much anything. I am saddened to see prime agricultural land being covered up with solar panels. Not to mention the toxic heavy metals needed to manufacture them.
