  1. Thank you.
  2. Very realistic! Well done.
  3. Amazing work. Very enlightening.
  4. GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS! Awesome pink Cadillac!
  5. Well here it is finally finished. The paint had some drama, the modifications were fun and I learned some new things. I'll not likely ever take it to a show but I'll keep it in my display case for a while.
  6. Almost done. It is in the shop getting some new "shoes".
  7. Thank you Douglas. It was a fun project and met all my goals. Though I spent 2-3 times more than I originally anticipated.
  8. Gorgeous result of a sharp dress car.
  9. Since this thread popped up recently I might as well put in an update. The 69 Boss Mustang is done. The 68 Shelby will be finished in the next day or so. The 67 Mustang GT 427 SOHC racer is nearing final assembly. The 67 Shelby chassis is done, but the body is pending masking and painting again. The Race Car Hauler BRBO is pending time and motivation to continue the masking/painting. The extended flatbed has not been cracked open yet waiting for bench space. Kind of would like to get my stalled Pro Street 70 El Camino moving again.
  10. Good for you! I went from normal to 9.0. Changed my diet and have been running 6.6 ever since. I do miss having ice cream every day though.
  11. I now have a set thanks to a friend nearby.
  12. Any further progress? My kit arrived today.
  13. This came today. They seem to be hard to find at a decent price. Mine cost $55 + $10 for shipping.
  14. Very high quality from what I can see.
  15. Nice detailing overall. The stance needs a little tweaking.
  16. I think you are doing well. I have been wanting to give a Funny Car a try. I just have so many other builds ahead of one.
  17. I got a bottle of thick, clear finger nail polish from the Dollar store. Comes with its own brush (no clean up) and works great for making "chrome" headlights more realistic.
  18. I have had a number of BMF sheets over the years. I have had one sheet of "regular" Chrome trim wrinkle up on me making it only useful for small areas. The adhesive stayed functional however. I have what I know was a newer sheet of Ultra shiny chrome. The metal seemed a little less flexible. On that sheet the adhesive degraded to the "quick cover it with Future before it falls off." stage.
  19. Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon or Peter Frampton Comes Alive. Those were my two favorite until I made my own Styx Grand Illusion on a CrO2 tape.
  20. Great job. Very well done. I graduated HS in '79. My 1st car was a '68 Malibu. The first carburetor I ever rebuilt was for a '69 Chevelle. Two of my friends in HS had SS396 4-speed Chevelles. One was a red '69 and the other was a red '70. We laid a lot of rubber in those days!
  21. That is quite impressive. It looks like something FoMoCo SHOULD have done. P.S. I agree with you on the "Gunsight" grille.
  22. Your scratch building skills are impressive. I would not even of attempted such an endeavor.
