  1. To have the interior correct the wheelbase correct and (I hope) keep a Pontiac engine in it. Just do what the 1:1 shops do. "back half" the car.
  2. Ok thanks. I don't use the stuff anyways.
  3. Elmers or epoxy? I would like to heed your warning.
  4. I like flat top COEs. I'll be following.
  5. I have 2 of the transport trailers. They haven't made it to the to do list yet. I'll be following yours.
  6. I am halfway through slowly building a modified one of these. (Day cab Dual Drive) I will be following yours.
  7. This one is on my to do list too. Following.?
  8. Here is the plan. Sleeper cab TRIPLE DRIVE (extended frame). Rectangular headlight conversion. Possibly scratch built headache rack. White and red paint scheme (if I can mask it successfully). Destined to connect to my modified lowboy trailer I built last year.
  9. I'll be following this one.
  10. Where did you get the chain binders and glad hands? The wood perimeter on the deck is novel too.
  11. Thank you and thank you. They can still be had at decent prices. Very nice drivers with nice paint jobs can still be had for under $20K. While the supply is low, the demand is even lower. I got mine fresh out of the paint booth for $3000 and since it had not been clearcoated yet, they did the gold for $200! Of course that was back in '98 or '99.
  12. Very nice job on the whole car especially, the stripes.
  13. You should be very proud of those builds. They turned out great.
  14. Thank you everyone for sharing. I think I am going the scratch built route for my 1st two.
  15. That is one of the main reasons I usually do not put a lot of effort into interiors.
  16. That is good to hear. Except for my visit to you, my Grand Prix has not been rained on in years.
  17. Somebody likes MOPARS!
  18. I have that and I like it. Have you built any that are old enough to know if it yellows?
  19. You have very good weathering skills. Nice job!
  20. Thank you guys. This one is actually the 3rd one I had painted black and gold. My 2nd one was even nicer than the one I have now. Here is a pic of the engine that went into it. I assembled it myself. I lost that car to a fire. 9 years of blood sweat and dollars up in flames.
  21. David, Thank you. The paint scheme was inspired by a Hurst SSJ but mine does not carry the gold onto the roof. I have only seen one of those in real life and it was a rusted out beater driven by a couple of cowboys in Wyoming.
