Wow! That sounds like a heater disguised as a lamp.

Thank you, Garry. ? Thank you, David. ? Thank you, Bob. They are American Diorama brand. I was on eBay for 3.5 hours looking at them all to find the few that were generic enough for my crew. Thank you, Jeff. Except for the decals and the front track width. I thought it was a decent kit. Nothing put up a fight except the paint job. Thank you, David. ? Thank you, Mario. ? Thank you. Tim. ? Thank you, Tom. The interior color was chosen when the intended car was a dark green Mustang GT. But, it works with blue too. Thank you, EMRE. ?

That T-bird looks SWEET! (as an aside, you may wish to consider some railings for those stairs)

Thank you, Anders. ? Thank you, Steve. ? It was an effort in perseverance. Thank you, Steve. ? The 70 is my favorite.

Nice wheels and paint. I agree with you on the decals. That is why I painted mine.

Thank you, Keith. ? Thank you, Lee. ? Thank you. David. ? Thank you, James. ? Thank you, Michelle. ? They are from American Diorama. I liked them because they are prepainted. The hardest part was sorting though hundreds of figures to find ones dressed like contemporary normal people. Thank you, David. ? When trial fitting the front wheels they stuck out too far without the wheel backs being on. I drilled and shaved down some parts box hubs to make them flush with the tip of the spindle. The thin flange was glued directly to backs of them mags after installing basic rings as the inner rim. Thank you, Gustavo. ?

I have gotten another procrastinated project off the bench. This one took 3 paint jobs to get it acceptable. The chassis and interior were built in advance for another project that changed directions. Overall this is a very nice kit and goes together well. The kit stripes were too lame so I endeavored to paint them which caused me problems to overcome. The only non-stock items are the tires on the kit wheels. I had to perform some "fineness" to tuck the fronts inboard. Comments welcome. Here is the WIP thread:

That is very nice indeed!

I used bits of one MCC's 70 Chevelle photo etch frets on 4 models so far. 70 Chevelle SS 396 72 Chevelle SS 454 70 El Camino SS ProStreet and the power window switches in my 65 Grand Prix. Future floor polish works great for attaching them.

When my wife guilted me into getting new master bedroom furniture, I got our old dresser as a hand-me-down. It works great to hold most all of my extra modeling supplies and parts boxes. You could probably pick one up from Goodwill.

Excellent result. I too like the interior.

I used the kit rims for my 68 Shelby. Sand the backs to open up the holes. Use panel liner to bring out the detail and depth. Optionally, you could machine some aluminum tubing to make wheel hoops like I did.

Mmmm. Looks tasty. Following.

How to make candy pink paint?

Go to the Dollar store. A range of pinks and reds will likely be available. -
Keith, I HIGHLY recommend them. They will hold up to 84 Testors bottles. Somewhat less of the Tamiya. The bigger Testors brush cleaner and Airbrush thinner are a snug fit. Tamiya panel liner does not fit but will sit on the lip square enough.

Revell 1966 GTO Engine Bay/Chassis Fit.

Keith is correct. The inner fenders hang outboard of the frame rails. Steve, If you go out and check your GP you will see it. -
That looks a hair long which is much easier to deal with than too short.

Now you have me curious. I have some pink mica powders. Though, I cannot imagine painting any of my projects pink. -
Good job. Going vertical saves desk space. I went bleacher style thanks to Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Pero-Sunglass-Organizer-Acrylic-Bottles/dp/B0BXL75LDH/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=pero%2Bpero&qid=1700101674&sr=8-2&th=1

Very nice examples. I though they were cool cars when they came out.
