  1. Thanks for sharing. My Dad used to drag race a 33 Plymouth Coupe with a 331 Hemi in the mid 60's. At one point he had 8! 2BBLs on it. If he saw that there was no one in a certain, Blown, class, he would run a flex hose from the heater blower into one of the carbs just to win a trophy.
  2. Thank you, Danato. ? Thank you, Harry. I thought so too. Thank you, Garry. I am glad you like them. ? Thank you, Ismael. ? Thank you, Jeff. I am pretty pleased with my throughput. Congratz on you 9. ? Thank you, Bob. ? Thank you, David. ? Thank you, Bill. That one was born a 75 promo. I back dated it and added a lot of engine detail. to the 455. Thank you, Bob. ? Thank you, Greg. ? Thank you, Terry. ? Thank you, Mathias. ? Thank you, Hans. I had a lot of fun building it. Much more interesting than a plain white background. Thank you, Phil. No, I like to mix it up. Annually, I shoot for 3 types of builds. One semi, one challenging project and a batch build of 3-5 similar subjects. This year I did not do the semi because last year's was so tough and this year's El Camino need dragged across the finish line finally. Thank, you David. I have lots of variety in my stash to work with. Thank you, Bruce. I am glad you liked it. ? Thank you, Craig. I have plans on eventually having a number of Hurst subjects. Including someday this one.
  3. Did you fab the roof or is someone offering it?
  4. Thank you, John. ? Thank you, Oliver. ? Thank you, Chris. ? Thank you, Chas. I would have loved to have owned one. Thank you, Bill. ? Thank you, David. ? Thank you, David. I wanted something besides basic black inside.
  5. I managed to get SEVEN done this year. One holy grail, two long term projects OFF the bench and 4 batch builds just squeaked in under the wire.
  6. You sure do some fine work. What is the color of the 71 Cuda? I am leaning towards something like that for an upcoming build.
  7. Exquisite builds!
  8. Great job on the weathering. All that hard work paid off!
  9. The 2nd car I ever owned was a 71 Galaxie 500 4DR. It had a 400M and regularly spanked my buddy's 69 Mustang which had a 351 Windsor.
  10. Thank you, Steve. The tires that come with the rims were just TOO low profile for a car this big. I still greatly enjoy my diorama. I use it for a staging area for WIPs. I take pics of the undercarriage on a lift because flipping a model over for pics, destroys the "illusion" in a gallery of photos. Thank you, Greg. ? Thank you, Tim. They are parts box tires from an unknown source. I have 4 overflowing kit boxes of tires. I got them cheaply, by the pound, off ebay in the very early 2000's. Thank you, Phil. ? Stand by... Thank you, Ben. ? I would really like to have the real thing. ? Thank you, Mike. ? Thank you, Gary. I am generally a Day Two builder with aftermarket wheels and upgraded induction. However, the Pontiac 8-lugs really appeal to me. But for the "High Performance" pick of the litter, I thought these wheels were just the ticket.
  11. Following. Years ago I traded someone my step side bed and frame for a long bed to go with the standard cab. It is a project I have not gotten to yet. (You know how that goes)
  12. Oooo! I am liking the lighting! I need to step up my game!
  13. Than you, Danny. ? Thank you, Eric. ? You are welcome, Glen. ? Thank you, Carl. ? Thank you, Garry. ?
  14. Thank you, Danny. ? Thank you, Eric. ? Thank you, Carl. ? Thank you, Jeff. ? Thank you, David. ? Thank you, Tom. ?
  15. Thank you, Carl. ? Thank you, Garry. I was only a toddler when these came out. Thank you, Jeff. I was looking to do something different and the blue interior was a factory option with black. Than you, Mathias. ? Thank you, Jeremy. To me, stance is very important. I get it pretty close most of the time. Thank you, Robert. ? Mike, Thank you. I agree. I was entered in a car show in Omaha, NE and a GORGEOUS 66 2+2 was parked next to me. It left quite an impression. All of these Ponchos are as close as I think I am going to get.
  16. Cool builds. I did not know AMT made a Maverick.
  17. Thanks for sharing. We do not get see many from Australia.
  18. Definitely "Pretty in Pink". ?
  19. You have very nice builds there.
  20. Very nice batch of builds. Especially the Willys PU.
  21. There would be plastic bits everywhere AND it would be leaking coolant. (Unless it was a Tesla)
  22. Thank you, Chris. ? Thank you, Bruce. ? Thank you, Steve. ? Thank you, Ismael. ?
  23. Thank you, James. ? Thank you, Michelle. ? Thank you, Keith. The 2+2 had the most potential for performance as it was the lightest of the bunch. Thank you, Steve. ? Thank you, Bob. ? Thank you, Craig. ? Thank you, Jack. I put extra effort into the interiors.
  24. Thank you, Dan. I thought so too. That is why I chose it. Thank you, Michelle. ? Thank you, Keith. ? Thank you, Steve. ? Thank you, Bob. Go for it! ? Thank you, Craig. ? Thank you, Jack. ? Thank you, Phil. ?
