  1. Very nice! My quick semi builds are around a year of so.
  2. I really like the detail on the walls. The chains on the garage doors the knife switch disconnect, the ball valve handle on the pipe and also the push broom is a nice touch.
  3. Thank you for the reply. They do have 1 bottle of the Acid Rain but they are out of stock on all the SMS clears. I do appreciate you sharing though.
  4. I did not know the kit above ever existed. I am currently converting the Hasegawa from a curbside to a full detail kit. Revell parts pack 421 scratch built dash and console etc.
  5. Testors Wet Look Clear goes well over the Start Spangled Blue.
  6. That turned out STUNNING! That is my favorite color combo.
  7. I have recently seen on the forum a Holden painted with SMS "Acid Rain" color. I have also heard good things about their clear over Molotow. I am ready to buy some. I would like to find somewhere that has it in stock in the US.
  8. That color looks PERFECT for GM power brake vacuum boosters and Milodon oil pans.
  9. You have done very well. Great job on the details like the scripts.
  10. Your choice of color is very pleasant. Am I to understand that you PAINTED over the decals?
  11. Assembly has not been too bad so far. It is all the time consuming mods. Thank you, Mike ? Thank you, Robert ? It has its nits to pick but when you really like the subject, you do what you can with what you have.
  12. Thank you, Keith. ? Thank you, Greg. ? Thank you, Dennis. ? Thank you, Carl. ? This evening I attempted to put the interior in the body. Ran into fitment issues. Trimmed the ends of the dash, cut off the rear most portion of the package shelf and had to paint the inside of the body below the side windows flat white. You all know how it goes sometimes.
  13. That turned out way cool. I hope mine comes out as well as yours did. I finished a 75 version of a H/O not too long ago.
  14. This one has been lagging behind due to the fab work required when starting with a curbside. I have the interior fully detailed finally.
  15. They are more work but when you really want an example of a certain subject. Ya just gotta do it. I have done 2-1/4 so far 68 Chevelle, 70 El Camino and the roof of a 70 Challenger R/T SE. I still have about half a dozen more to tackle eventually.
  16. I am with Steve. Build it for your own satisfaction. If others admire it enough to give you recognition all the better. As far as rules, ADDING stuff will get you moved out of the class pretty quick. Removing stuff should be fair game. Flashing, mold lines, sink holes, pin marks etc. You could try to sell taking out the single exhaust as removal of a "mold" line.
  17. Wow! That turned out really nice. Great job on the wheels.
  18. Very nice pair of Novas. ?
  19. You have done a marvelous job making the conversion.
  20. Whoa! Now that is creative!
  21. Count me in. Following. My Best Man owned one of these a couple of years before I got married.
  22. I have contemplated buying this kit because I like the lines of the design. My Dad owned a 58 Eldorado Brougham with the stainless steel top when he was in his early 20's. He said it was the biggest "Divorcee Magnet" he ever owned.
  23. Be prepared for some extra work and LOTS of test fitting. Particularly the interior. I just finished a resin body build and I considered the interior done until I tried to fit it with the windows installed. (after painting of course)
  24. Well done. I am surprised you did not include the divider between the front and rear seats.
