Could be a Malibu with an SS hood. There were lots of those running around back then also. That being said, with the blower sticking out of the hood it might not matter!
Thanks David, Bob, Greg and Ray for the kind comments. The Beep beep T was a kit I had when I was a kid so when it was rereleased I just had to have one, so then I bought the set. Haven't finished the train yet.
Chevy looks great. Nice color combo. You said you used black chalk for the grill, did you mean pastels. You said it was a wash on the grill, did you add water? How does this work?
This is the MPC Roadrunner "T" .The paint is Testors orange pearl. Same as with the Willies I posted, I made waterslide decals from the stickers. The supports for the wing are aluminum tubing. Hope you like them. They were something fun and simple to take a break from detailed work.
Every time I think I have everything I want, something else crops up. This week I received a '62 Plymouth Fury that I didn't know I wanted until I saw a Beverly Hillbillies episode and had to have Miss Jane's car.
Good start. Nice decals. I will be interested in how you are going to change the grill and signal lights to look like a '71. I need to build one of these myself out of a '72.
