  1. Another of my old WIP's that i have brought out from the storage. I am working with this one on the side of the Supra wide body. It's a Tamiya Porsche GT2 I started it back in 2008. Anyway, I had already cut the door out made the chassis, and painted most of the body and chassis and made some assembling. I took it up where I left and started detailing it, realized after a while that the paint is to bad to continue. Back then I did not have anywhere to spray during winter. So I was kind of lazy about it, probobly the reason i stoped building models as well. Right now i am finnishing of my paint both wich is gona be awesome with down draft front cover and built in lights and vent to the outside. I am going down in tire diameter or wheel size in the rear since they look to big. What i have to do now is to remove decals, mask and respray the boddy. There is to much collor differences between the door and the body, hard to see but you can se the dot also on the door. First session i started mocking and do some detailing. And Then i aded some glass and window trim. Will try to mask them off. Lights have been removed again so i can paint the inside. Any tip on good glue to glue windows and glass? I have been using normal wood glue from the hardware stoore but i am not satisfyed with the results. Last three pics are when i realized the paint aint no good.. saw this when i was ading the door. After some more work being done to it. Door test, collors are off.. Will do the respray these comming days. //Anton
  2. Great update. nice to se the work process and its good inspiration and know how so to speak!
  3. Great build as always! First time I se a early 2gen t-top. Have only seen the face lift version with It. And trans am of course, but I have believe they open more than yours.
  4. Looks killer with the body on! I guess the rear shocks will be displayed as they are now and thats gona look crazy good!
  5. Holy CR**P! Thats some nice details! Awesome machining work there! What an inspiration! And if you would have taken the pictures with an other background it would have been mistaken for the real deal! Even brackets for bumper with screws... insane!
  6. Nice progress! Love how the chassis look with all the details!
  7. Wow! Great jobb there!! loks amazingly real! looks like a good kit!
  8. I have been thinking of wheels on this ride. I have two options. "19 Advan Racing GT With extra wide lip in rear from an other wheel Or the "19 Work Gnosis also with extra deep lip in back. Please help me decide. Note that i have no good experience with puting chrome to the wheels so that might have a bad look on the Gnosis. I have never used Alclad and dont have it eiter.
  9. As i said before! absolutley beautifull!
  10. I always get impressed with your skills dan! And how much details you put in the model! And this is no exeption! Just stunning! I will be following this as your other builds! For inspiration i can send you this one: A swedish guy that have a Pantera with a Hemi that is far from stock. He have also made a book about chassis. https://www.garaget.org/?car=40839 http://www.hemipanter.se
  11. Really good looking build you have there! Nice to build it with vinyl top and also no wing and such. I am a fan of cowl hood and wing but like how your look!
  12. Thanks guys! I am more in to American muscle cars in real life but really enjoy any beautiful car with the right proportions. Did some some progress, I filled the holes in the bonnet. And I realized that epoxy putty needs to be newer than 15 years to work good. Gladly the standard type worked like a charm! Also mocked with a set of 19”s that I hade laying around and I will order a n other set of 19 since they fit much better in the arc. Thanks //Anton
  13. Very beautifull build! Love how you stretched and modifyed the boddy! Great result!
  14. Exactly! Experience is always great! And you will also have the wheels for an other build further on!
  15. Looks really good in silver with black wheels! Good work on the paint job! Great save on the broken wheel as well, sad that it didn’t work out with them though! Looks sharp never the less!!
  16. Nice to se some one “local”! I visit Kalix often! Have a cottage on Seskaro! I will take a moment and look at your builds:)
  17. Thanks for all the comments! I really enjoy the feedback! I like to get pointers and suggestions as well! Thanks All rally fun to be on this forum! So i have been working with the body to figure out if i should use the wheels or not. And i have measured the boddy and it differs in the front wheel arches. And after mocking the suspension i got very confused. The gap to the Arc was not what expected after i measured the boddy. It seems like i glued the chassis wrong so the height differs.. Need to make new measurements on the chassis alone to determine the fault in the gluing process. Nothing that cant ve fixed. I tried with an other tire and it suits it better as you guys sugested. I have also been looking on other wheels so we will se if i find the ones i like. Right hand side as before with other tire. The back of this fornt arch have to be extended 1mm forward. Left hand side same suspension setup. The wheel seems to be off center in the front arc. RH side LH side I wanted to take one from the front to se if i have to cover upp the tires more. And i belive i have to since they are so vissible. And some Canards might be nice.. The bigg ass! Love this view. I have made the stock wing with more agressive and also the rear decklid have a ducktail shape to it. Some putty and styreene work left as you can see. Thanks again for all the input! Apriciate it allot!
  18. Great! I just love the Ellenor Shelby mustangs! This is a must follow!
  19. Really nice detailing! Thanks for the tech tips! I will buy the thin Tamiya glue next!
  20. You have great scratch building skills! I love the plan and with that chassis it will be awesome!
  21. Thanks! Yes I made it with styrene and eye measure mostly. If it looks right is usually is right I appreciate the inputs! The wheels are from the Tamiya Porsche 911 GT2 kit, great kit by the way. But I wanted the wheels for this build. I might try to go for a larger rubber and se if it fits better in the wheel well. thanks Anton
  22. Can i Get some pointers on the wheels. Are they to small do i need to go for "19? or should i try to alter the arch?
