  1. When the team converted the corvette to the truck body the wanted to keep the wing to create as much downforce as possible. So they cut 8” out of it and fixated the bed sides to it to make it as discreet as possible. With minor tweaking the original wing support supports the wing and the bed sides. And the team decided to move as much weight as possible rearward so the radiator will be moving back which will give more room for the intercoolers. ?
  2. Looks great! Good work there!
  3. Have made some progress with new headers.. then decided, after some good ideas for turbos.. to toss the new header and make turbo manifolds. Found a good placement of the turbos and a layout that will work. ?
  4. How about this? looks darn good to me. ? just make everything symmetrical and even. Those intakes for example is just mock-up parts.
  5. I was thinking of it. But it does not make a good looking setup. I would have the turbos behind the cab and rout it through the middle back to the engine.. the last setup will look good. I have already started with the build.
  6. Since I am a libra I can’t decide some times.. it does not Make sense to put turbos due to time constraints but still.. what if… so I have been trying to figure where they could go. And it’s not that easy due to the engine bracket and front accessories. I could put them on top of the engine bracket but I am not a fan of that idea… behind creates a problem with piping, routing of could air and sow on.. Started looking on the whole engine bay, and a high rear placement will work, and I really dig this placement. With shortened intake boxes on a high angle it will fit the tall truck body better than the corvette low style intake box:
  7. Haha! ? sorry to disappoint you guys! NA it is, the time frame does not allow for a creative turbo system. Even though my head was working on it yesterday after I went to bead. managed to get started on the other one and also made a start on the collector. Seen here together with the C5R original.
  8. Great work on that dock build! Those looks so insane!
  9. Made some progress engine have new pin mounts so it will always go I one place. Also made some engine brackets for the Alu solid engine mount to mount to. And after a second take with a turbo mock-up in between one side header is routed but need a collector to call it done.
  10. Went back to the original plan. Allt of fiddling later one is getting there. Need a collector but that can be made outside of the body.
  11. Great work on that custom truk!
  12. Came out great! That truck is wickid and you did a great job on it!!
  13. Looks good! Keep up the good work!
  14. What an incredible build! Every part is for sure an model in it self! So good work!
  15. Looks sweet! Good work!
  16. Came out great! Good work looks super!
  17. Looks super sharp! Great work there!
  18. Today I was doing some work, also planing for a future build some how, and I stumbled across a 911 turbo exhaust wile not perfect it gave me ideas.. should I or should I not.. also found some parts in the PB for the rear suspension. And started eyeballing it.. please give me your point of view! I like both engine setups but leaning towards a NA engine. Too bad these turbos are not mirrored to each other, would be cooler and more sexy to do it symmetrical.
  19. Just had to look at the differences between AMT floor pan and Revell. The Revell have much bigger tubs than the AMT one, and I gues it can be lowered more thanks to that.
  20. Came out great! Looks can agree on the stance but looking at the kit in my stash it seems to be a tougher problem to sort.. I think the rear part of the frame have to be cut and Z-Ed. Front seems easier of course.
  21. Sweet build! Go for the cumins ?
