I actually did fine with the hood, trunk and roof stripes. I thought I was gonna get them on straight without measuring, yeah right!! All were crooked, I'll know better next time hopefully. Any way, only problem with not putting them on, it won't be a 350H.

The clear sprays on really thin so use with caution as it will sag if sprayed on a vertical surface. Just a warning.

The repaint without clear. With Rustoleum Crystal Clear Acrylic Lacquer Not the greatest picture to show the actual finish, but it did come out very good. A little orange peel in the clear but I'm only gonna do a light rub out with Automotive Polishing compound (very light grit) then polish. Hopefully some better pictures to follow.

As a matter of fact, yes. Success at last. Anitas Craft paint with Dave G's thinner blend did the trick. Will try to get a few pictures on here.

Thanks for the tips. The washer idea to me make the most sense and since older car rotors aren't slotted or drilled anyway,they should look fine. Except for maybe race cars. Now the calipers, have to figure that one out.

No, I never use large diameter wheels, I'd say up to 16" as most of what I build are 55-72 cars. Thanks tho.
