  1. Hi Derek, very nice detail work on the interior, engine. Coming along nicely sir!
  2. Oh boy…. this is going to be good!! Anton, do everything you can to achieve that mock up stance, it’s wicked! I’ll be watching this one closely. Engine choice looks real nice. Of course, you had me at “pro street”… Cheers, Steve
  3. What Luke said… Dennis, love how you approach your builds, very well thought out. You missed the 70’s and 80’s !! Your 1:1 looks awesome, and I have no doubt that this will be another educational build from you. Always learn something from your WIP’s. The mock-up stance looks perfect. Cheers, Steve
  4. Ah yes, the ol’ slice and tuck… well played! Triple R this will be awesome, I’ll go fire up popcorn maker. I have one of these in the stash, not sure what treatment I’ll give it yet, but I have a feeling I will get some ideas here! Cheers, Steve
  5. Thank you Gene! Glad you agree, I think it looks killer too.
  6. Where’s the beach???
  7. Big meats, tubs…. You’re speaking my language here Bob!! The Matt and Debbie Hays T-bird is a fantastic kit and the tubs are quite deep which allows a low stance. The ‘67 Chevelles are a good source, some of the old/re-issued pro stock kits are a great source for tubs too. I look forward to seeing your WIP !! Cheers, Steve
  8. Thanks for the kind words Patrick. As the build progressed, I got really used to the 2 door look, a huge improvement in my eyes. I think Chrysler could have sold lots of them. The Mercedes connection makes sense, thanks for sharing that. Cheers, Steve
  9. Hi David, thanks for the kind words. As I’ve said before, always appreciate your input on the WIP’s, not just mine, but I see your input on others’ builds as well. Your comments always seem informed and thought out to me. Thank you Stephen. Hi Luke, your words mean a lot here mate, as I know you have similar taste. I look forward to when you are back at the bench building, you are a very talented builder. Also hoping to see a whip of your 300 idea! Cheers, Steve
  10. Hello Francis! Cracks, potholes, and entire sections of highways washed out!! When I come and visit you and Claude, I’ll bring my truck with the models carefully stored, all my builds are “trailer queens” ?? Thanks for having a look my friend. I’ll have to check back in on the great fuel cell debate on your Dodge. Cheers, Steve
  11. Hi Craig, I appreciate the kind words. I hope you will share your build when you get to it!! Thank you Stephen Cheers, Steve
  12. Mario…. The number of absolutely beautiful models you have built blows my mind. Makes me realize how slow I am! I love these Olds 442’s. This one has possibly the best foil work I’ve ever seen, and the paint is flawless. I would also like to know which colour that is please. Keep em coming. Cheers, Steve
  13. Hi Luke! Nice to hear from you my friend. Stay tuned for the Camaro, just gathering bits and planning. Hello David, it definitely.has a “deadly” look. If I had done a detail build of this, I would have added a gattling gun to the interior. Thank you Jeff, I appreciate that. Cheers, Steve
  14. Steve, plan B for the interior looks awesome. Probably a bit frustrating for you after spending time on plan A, but man, plan B is stellar. Really looking forward to seeing this one assembled, the paint is beautiful. Cheers, Steve
  15. Looking really good David. The detail painting on the interior and chassis is great. Cheers, Steve
  16. Hello Anton! I really appreciate your input. Yes, that light coat of smoke gave the gunmetal a darker hue that worked perfect for this build. Thanks for the kind words my friend. Hello Nigel, good to hear from you. Yep, these cars don’t need much to give them some attitude. Using the aluminum for a guide scribing the doors works well for me. Thanks for having a look. Thank you Oliver. The exhaust exits turned out well. I appreciate the kind words! Hi Roger !! I thought you might like the stance. It needed to be a 2dr to make it pop. It seems that I achieved the goal of making it sinister and aggressive looking based on the comments, so I’m pretty pleased about that. As for what’s next, I think you’ll like it… Thank you Larry, much appreciated. I truly appreciate all the comments from you all. Cheers, Steve
  17. Thank you Shawn. Hi Bill, that says a lot, thanks!! I appreciate you having a look. Hi Glenn. I appreciate you taste in stance!! I like ‘em low. Everyone has their own idea of “perfect stance”, this is mine. It often makes for a bunch of extra work, but results are worth it to me. Thanks very much for your enthusiasm. It’s nice to see this build getting some attention, pro street isn’t the trendy look these days but I still like the look. You might like this too?….
  18. Very nice Caddy Thomas. Colour is killer, and I like your wheel choice. I have one of these in the stash and it’s getting closer to top! Great looking cars.
  19. Wow! The front grill looks amazing. Loving the custom decals you printed, great stuff, those little details add so much to the finished build. Cheers, Steve
  20. Thanks Chris !! This is one of my favourite builds, they look wicked tubbed out.
  21. Awesome build Anton! Now I know why the C5R truck build stalled. Very crisp details, paint and interior, it all looks top shelf. I assume there is a WIP for this, I will have look… Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Steve
  22. It looks wicked Mario! Thanks for sharing. I’m not an expert on colours and such, I just know that it looks fantastic and is certainly close enough to the correct colour. Keep ‘me coming Mario! Cheers, Steve
  23. Eric, that was exactly the look I was going for, so many thanks. Hi Philippe, thank you very much. Carl !! Hope you had a fantastic birthday. I’m quite pleased with how this one turned out. Thanks for having a look at the finished build, and thanks for your input on the WIP thread my friend. Thanks Chris. Claude… I remember reading that you were working away on some builds. As you know, I absolutely love your builds and am anxiously awaiting to see them posted sir. Your builds are always inspiring for me. Thanks David! Thanks Bill, I tried to add some interesting touches to distract from the fact that there is no interior or engine. It looks good in the display case. Cheers, Steve
  24. Awesome idea Anthony! Great looking build. I don’t think the police will give you a second glance. Cheers, Steve
  25. Thanks so much Chris, much appreciated. It really looks cool as a 2 door in my opinion.
