Impressive looking build. That interior is impeccably detailed as is the engine compartment. Clear coat shine is beautiful. I like the look the Tamiya smoke provides on the wheels. Gives a much more realistic look than the kit chrome. I'll have to get a can and experiment.

Super clean build. Nice work picking out the seating detail.

Great looking Charger and sharp looking color combination. First one of these I've seen in dark blue.

Thanks Chang. Actually the rocker panel is just ordinary aluminum foil and it was applied with Bare-Metal foil adhesive. It's a thin white liquid very similar to Micro Metal Foil Adhesive.

Thanks John, and by the way I happen to have a '65 Grand Prix in my collection still unbuilt. Probably do a vinyl roof on that one. Thanks Bob. I've been having pretty good success with that green labeled Rusto clear. Started using it last year after your topic in which you were curious about Rustoleum clear. So, thanks for starting that topic. Thanks Ciff.

Thanks Mike, Phillipe and Greg. I spend quite a bit of time wet sanding out the clear on my cars. Thanks Rich. I always felt the '65 was the best-looking full-size Pontiacs of the '60's.

Looks great. And nice work detailing the grill and those tricky wheel openings. The detailing on the Camaro scripts also looks excellent.

Thank you Mario. I enjoy taking a little creative license with my builds.

I Yeah, guess I had Buccaneer Red in my head since it was a popular color on the '74 models. Just looked up Sundance Orange since I wasn't aware of that color and it's an attractive one. And now I see it in this model.

Very impressive work on a model I didn't know even existed. I agree with splitting up the photos on separate posts. Nice close-up photography.

Thank you Gerald, Eric, Ken and Dan. Thank you Roger, EMRE, Bill and Harry. Thanks David G. Thanks Glen. It's definitely a classic I'd like to own on a 1:1 scale. Thanks Rusty. Thanks David. Yeah, there are a couple of gaps but some in the foil which I could easily touch up with chrome pen. There is a small gap in the wheel well molding that I needed to miter to better blend with the lower body side moldings. But I'll keep working on improving.

No doubt about it.....a Buccaneer Red '74 T/A will always turn heads. Great work and good luck getting it all back together.

Great looking GTO in an attractive color. Very well detailed engine compartment.

That is an extremely clean build in a great looking color.

Great looking Caprice and the color combination is perfect for the era. I'm currently working on an older release of this kit and even though I'll probably use them I agree with you on the wheel covers.

Another stunning build.

Another perfect looking build.

Great restoration and the color is just fabulous.

Excellent work on the paint, trim and decals. I've never used TS-19 and it appears to be maybe a shade lighter than TS-54 from the pictures.

Built from the 2004 reissue of the 1/25 scale 1965 Pontiac 2+2 and painted in Dupli-Color Toreador Red. Clear is Rust-Oleum in the green label can. I picked up a couple of these kits a few years back when I started building models after a long hiatus. At the time I didn't realize they were a rebadged Bonneville and not a true 2+2 body. While I've acquired a few Bonneville kits since then, not building this one was never an option because I find the body style far too attractive. So, I sanded off the 2+2 identification but still used the kits interior. That's why the title description is Pontiac and not a specific model. Funny thing is I actually like the look of the sides minus the scripts and may very well sand off the Bonneville emblems on my unbuilt kits. This was my first attempt at using styrene strips (.015x.030) to wrap a vinyl top area and .035 rods around the rear wheel openings to eliminate the skirts. Overall, I mostly satisfied, but when I look at the some of the close-up pictures, I can see room for improvement.

That turned out very pretty and I like the rub strip on the mid body section. I picked up one of these earlier this year that I plan to paint, foil and noticed the molded in rub strip would be a challenge to detail since it's so narrow. I plan on using a similar strip of styrene as in your excellent example.

That's an exceptional shine. Haven't seen too many builds of this model. Great work.

Beautifully detailed throughout and I like the champagne type gold on this Camaro.

Stunning build throughout. That interior detailing is exceptional.
