Wonderful job building this vintage kit. A couple of years back at a historic race there was a fellow running a 1903 Cadillac. He and a friend of his were discussing what the firing order was, the decision was "1". Thanks for sharing!

Must be clean water, if it were prestone you would need a chartreuse mirror.
-
I like the mirror as an oil spill headed for the grate (and an environmental disaster.)

Yeah that worked great for the rack boots. Shrink tube also works well for corrugated radiator hoses. -

Looking back at the photos of your 1:1 subject car the floor is neutral gray epoxy paint with a few wear marks and tire tracks. Maybe a few water stains around the sprinkler risers? The mirror does kind of confuse the overhead view. that ll said, this has been an exciting build and great share! Thank you again for the adventure, looking forward to the Rolls custom roadster.

Try some heat shrink tubing for the boots, it works well and gives you some flexibility too. Wonderful detail on one of my favorite cars. -
Nowadays it is nearly impossible to find a well stocked hobby shop anywhere close to me.

Love the concept! You could even upscale the blower from the Bentley. Will watch with great anticipation.

All ready has a sizable load to carry too. -
Any Zappa a true guitar master. Too many to count but notably Black Napkins (Live) on ‘Zoot Allures’ or Watermelon In Easter Hay from Joe's Garage.

Outstanding results Francois. Thanks for the demo, I bet the erasure pencil would be soft enough for BMF too.

I couldn't resist and just received a 1/35 scale De Dion Buton Trike. The company obviously caters to the military modeler, but this is a highly detailed cast and photo etched kit. Hand mastered in brass and cast in gray resin. Now I remember why I gave up on my 1/43 kits.

Fantastic work Dax! You have a great technique for weathering and rusted chrome. Love the distopian vision you have for these vehicles. I believe I've seen some of your other builds, or was it just the WIP on this project. Look forward to seeing any of your next projects.
