  1. For that particular kit: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/38/1-25-41-plymouth-coupe In general, I find Scalemates to be very helpful regarding release dates: https://www.scalemates.com/
  2. It doesn't sound like that happened. Definitely something people should be aware of going forward, and it's highly unlikely new Revell will provide those replacement parts any longer. Here's the Service Bulletin which is posted on Revell's site: Revell kit 85-2510 Kenworth W-900 Wrecker Please be aware that 1 tree in the bagged parts is missing from this kit. A picture of the missing tree is shown. This tree contains parts for the boom and other structures in the kit. The part numbers range from 172 to 274 and It is a total of 48 parts. Revell is in the process of having the correct tree of parts molded. However these parts will not be available until the middle of Jan. 2016. As soon as the replacement trees arrive we will send them out to everyone who has requested them. You can contact Revell in 3 ways: first through revell.com and use our Online Parts Request form, second by mail, or you can call us at 800-833-3570. If you are calling us, please be sure to state you are calling about this kit. We are making an exception for this kit and we will allow phone-in orders. When ordering on-line please put "missing tree" on the "Part Description" line. You do not need to list all the individual parts. For the part number please use 8525100900. We appreciate your cooperation and we apologize for the inconvenience. Update: The replacement parts mentioned in this alert are now available. We have started sending out parts to everyone including distributors, stores and consumers. If you have already sent us your request, please be patient we are processing the orders as fast as we can. If not, please let us know using one of the 3 ways mentioned in this alert. Again we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Posted: January 11, 2016
  3. I second this suggestion.
  4. Here's the image of the stripped down '77 Dodge Monaco Sedan I meant to post earlier, showing the separate front wheel house John mentioned:
  5. Just because multiple geegaws are included, doesn't mean you are required to use all of them. ?
  6. Much more on the AMT Craftsman and Jr. Craftsman kits here:
  7. ???? The Revell '69 Charger kit does include a separate bellhousing/transmission, but the trans is an A-833 4-speed manual, not an A-727 automatic.
  8. I think the insert(?) for the hood as lost at some point, so Revell included a resin cast piece. The most recent reissue from 2012 again included an injection molded styrene hood, sealed in a separate bag, so things should be good for the next (Atlantis?) reissue.
  9. Ah, so those are the parts Dennis mentioned (but never saw/found) in the article. Fascinating stuff, and thanks for posting those images., Don.
  10. The "Chopped Deuce" Street Demons reissue got me in '83...so many tiny chrome plated parts. So very "fiddly"...
  11. I'm guessing this never made it to production?
  12. The first half of the instruction's steps: IIRC, this was the last kit produced by Lindberg before Round2 acquired the company:
  13. Just noticed the "mascot" on the AMT '64 Comet Caliente instruction sheet. Was this mascot a 1/25 scale dog or one of the smaller animals to be displayed on the package tray or rear seat? *edit* Just noticed it among the yellow parts...15" or so long compared to the steering wheels, so full size...puppy?
  14. Revell '69 Dodge Dart GTS, hands down. Pics of the parts here: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/14/25-revell-dodge-dart-gts The same basic engine is found in the Revell '68 HEMI Dart kit, though it's now referred to as a "440 Magnum". Same engine parts as in the '69 Dart GTS kit:
  15. I think Round2 has tried to eliminate this by including a silhouette of all the included parts on the box bottom, but that requires people to turn the box over and look there...no guarantee that will happen 100% of the time. Here's Sean Svendsen's post announcing the Model King reissue (with the nice box art) from 2007:
  16. Forgot about the Monogram 'Evolution of the Legend' T-bird 3-Pack set:
  17. Here's a look at what's inside an older issue, courtesy of a completed eBay listing:
  18. Here's the topic Chuck mentioned, though I'm not sure if it helps with the hood issue Brian mentioned having:
