Gassers, how have you built them?
Horrorshow replied to T-Ray's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I purchased two Spirit of 57 gasser kits, I used the front suspension to build a Christine gasser and a 58 Edsel gasser. I then used their front suspensions to build two 50’s era stock cars on the 57 Chevy. -

I’m a little off topic but I have always wondered why emblems are even on car model bodies. Why don’t manufacturers just supply decals with the kit? -
Happy Birthday Carl!??

AMT 58 Plymouth Christine… I have built four. One box stock, one as a gasser, one as a NASCAR and one as a dirt tracker. -

Although I wasn’t a fan of the show Friends, it’s still sad to see someone go too soon. I did become a fan of his when he claimed he beat up Justin Trudeau when he was a kid.

Friendly loveable Squirrels..
Horrorshow replied to A modeler named mike's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I love going to nature trails with a bag of peanuts to feed the squirrels and chipmunks. Just a little bit of caution for everyone, my cousin used to feed squirrels at her house, she went on vacation and they chewed through her window sills, got inside and literally destroyed her house. -

I’m planning a couple of builds that require extensive cutting to the chassis. Any recommendations for the best tools and techniques?

I restarted my hobby of model building during a long motorhome trip. A picnic table outside was nice for sunny days. Working inside was fine but the table was a little small. I did not have a paint booth. Here are a couple builds done during the trip.
