Canadian Tire Limited Editions 2020 and 2021

They are I believe 1:25 scale -
The 1957 Ranchero and 1964 Fargo are both piggy banks; you slide the tonneau cover back a little, revealing the coin slot. The Fargo I picked up at the Canadian tire in the Yukon in 2022 when we went for a summer trip there, but they sold them at our local Tire also. Just has a better story to it.

Like the Cameo Chevy and the Riviera -
Yes I am too a fan of the Canadian cars, there’s a book called Monarch Meteor that I have about the Canadian fords; if you haven’t got that book either that would totally be one to add to your book collection.

I noticed some fellow modelers showcase their kits from the past year so I'd like to share mine also. Nothing crazy, but this has to have been my favourite model year in terms of the kits I got and also this past June when I found the forum. Definitley the most interesting model car year since I was actually able to share 3 years worth of kits with all of you and I totally appreciated the nice comments about them and the knowledge and advice shared since I've been here on the forum. Here's to the 2025 Model Year. March 2nd (my dad's build) March 10th March 15th March 26th June 13th July 27th September 5th October 22nd November 8th November 22nd December 10th December 20th

Not a single clound in the sky anywhere at all; first brutally sunny day since before the snow came in late November. Mind you it's still -20 degrees celsius but hey, nothing but blue skies. Always a good day when the clouds are no where to be found

1/25 AMT 1969 Ford Galaxie Hardtop
Falcon Ranchero replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I saw this kit making the rounds on the forum; I would totally pick one up and build the XL GT; does the kit come with those stripes or would I have to come up with stripes myself? I'd paint it all white with red stripes; saw a photo of one with that colour scheme in a book I read but couldn't find the example online. Red and white is nice, too, also green and black... -
I like all three; Chevelles are nice cars; owning one would be cool.

Bored build New inspiration…
Falcon Ranchero replied to slusher's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Typically I don't get bored while building a kit, it's the starting the build, I tend to stall getting all the supplies layed out and that usually defines whether or not I want to build a kit. Once I get going I usually don't stop unless I have other things to do OR because certain things don't fit right and I need to step away for a while. One time I built the '63 Nova wagon in one day, didn't get bored just kept on chuggin' along. That's why it's not the greatest build quality. I'm sure once I get older I may get bored occasionally but I know right now I follow through with a build mainly because I like to see a finished product. Never walked away because of boredom or started a different kit while still working on another. -
$900,000 would get me all the classic cars I want, plus a place to store them

Teen is the time I'm in right now building kits and it is a fun pass-time, but my only parts stash is a small ziploc bag with misc. accessories from '70s Van kits plus two incomplete engines, as well as no stashed kits since I built all the ones my dad stashed in the '90s.

Not technically model car stuff but still usefull for reference; this was shipped to the book store for pick up yesterday. Really pleased considering I ordered it "sight unseen" in the sense that I couldn't flip through the pages. It's all about Australian cars which I thought would be neat to read about after reading 3 different books about the history of American Muscle cars in a row- not that I didn't enjoy reading those books.
