So two pics... one of the interior tub and one of the seats I will be using for it. The seats are in the mess of stuff I painted today.

This body is in the Purple power bath for a few days. I will pull it out Mon/Tue evening and then when I back to the bench I will change the color to a better purple.

At Ollie's I have been able to get kits from 12.99 to 14.99 US dollar. That was what I paid back in the early 90's, with a few 8.99 kits.

Excellent man! Can't wait to see more! -
That is awesome and so many great builds there! That would have me tickled pink tbh!
-
Yeah that is horrible! I mean you can even see the chrome in them... who does that! But great shot! I like odd shots and that is a great one!

That's why you see 4 kits on my bench. The trailer I have just get off the bench. (Won't put cars on it until I can attach to the Truck) Once I get the trailer off I will keep puttering on the truck so I can have more space. That boy takes a bunch.

Ollie's strike again
meechum68 replied to GLMFAA1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I will head to Ollie's today. The last time I went they had a few boat kits, but nothing I like. No planes, no cars or trucks. Well my Ollie's was a bust... they are so hit and miss. -
Thanks, and I got lucky on the pillars, but flash was ... well a ton I took off the body. I can deal with flash vs unfinished molds. Drag yours out and give it some love

Great work!! Love the color combo!

Nice work man! The color is great!

Welcome! And nice builds!

Humid, and another round of overnight storms. Been pretty wet this month and it started roughly in April and ran through all of May, and here we are in June. I am glad for the lower temps and moisture, but I know the oven temps are soon to come. (Gotta love OK)

The one event in World History I will never forget, aside from Pearl Harbor and the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. The young folk and most of the folks in my age group (Gen X) don't realize the importance of D-Day.

@Tim W. SoCal @johnyrotten Dudes... thank you!! I will be checking this out. (Barring I can get the engine running, last time prior to replacing the relay you show, it wouldn't start) And the thing that irked me... ok mildy annoyed me: My CRT tv died that I use for my PS1/PS2 systems so now having to get a RCA to HDMI adapter. (And find a place to pitch that big old dead tv-Picture tube died, powers on but no picture.)
-
I got my office almost rearranged. Gonna sit tomorrow for some bench time. Have to wait on a new piece for my video game side of the office. (Adapter for RCA to HDMI, my CRT tv died so have to go this route for my PS1/PS2.) House got mopped and swept deeply! And I had a good cup of coffee this morning to start the day!

Well, I found another purple I will use. So back to the stripping pool it goes!

Thinkful Wishing about Round2 Models, future Kits.

MPC Dodge Monster Truck (Molded in Orange) MPC 57 Corvette Gasser (Molded in Black) Ertl 29 Model A (Molded in Red) Those are the 3 big ones for me. Primarily the first one. That one gets repopped and I will have 6 in my stash and I will build them all. -
Will keep ya posted. (Keep in mind it may take a bit, but hey I build several at a time, and over long periods of time.. aka life finds a way)
