  1. That's coming along great. I like the wheel change too-makes it unique compared to your first version. The way it sits now I think shiny/blingy is not right for it, and rat might put it into "just another rat rod" category.
  2. That's Misha Smarsky. I've purchased from him more than a few times. Outstanding products and fantastic service. It's taken less time to get things from him across the globe than it does my interstate mail.
  3. Shipping up to Boston and Sandman on the Bagpipes.
  4. I got this from John Goschke a few years ago. An amazing model even by today's standards. It was supposedly in a magazine, or on the cover, but I don't know which one. It's the centerpiece in my collection.
  5. This is one of the reasons I don't watch. I can't stand ugly cars. Actually the last time NHRA excited me was when Dick Lahaie won the top fuel championship. I had to google that, it was 1987 ?
  6. Nor Cal is getting another planned safety shut off this weekend, they estimate 850,000 people will lose power. The outage map is insane, huge swaths of the state will go dark. PG&E has become worse than a joke to us. I've extremely surprised we haven't heard stories of widespread looting.
  7. While this doesn't exactly have a car in it, it does talk about drivin'--a lot. Older folks that remember new wave in the early 80's might remember this.
  8. Great choice Snake! ?
  9. Need to put a bit of metal into this thread.
  10. I prefer the Classics IV version of Spooky, mainly because it takes me back to my misspent youth in 1968 and when AM radio actually played music.
  11. I read the first and last pages. All I can say is wow. I also read this: "Water-based acrylic paints meant for plastics is strongly recommended. Other paints, especially enamels, may not cure on Frosted Detail 3D-printed plastics."
  12. That's Misha Samarsky. I have ordered from him several times. His products are outstanding. He has a facebook page too https://www.facebook.com/msamarsky.
  13. Scroll to 22:50 in the video. What's wrong with the windshield? Is it molded with imperfections?
  14. I viewed the thread "model dating" by Gramps46. Now I'm being bombarded with ads from Asiandate.com.
  15. I think Billy Gooche still does that decal sheet. ?
  16. I completely agree. I followed Chris' buildup of this on another forum-impeccable workmanship! ✔️
  17. That is really nice! ✔️
  18. But it's a pretty nice shade of silver ?
  19. Ha, I thought I was the only one that used those plastic bread ties
  20. I'm sure everyone knows that the AMT kit was a take-off on The Syndicate. According to Draglist, it was an AA/FD. Various sources confirm it had mediocre performance, and that the advent of rear engine dragsters caused it to get parked. http://www.draglist.com/draglist/search.php?q=the+syndicate&search=Search&exact=exact&VIEW=Extended
  21. I love that side view ?
  22. Here's a pic of the engine espo was referring to. This is from the original instruction sheet, but the engine hasn't changed since the 60's.
  23. That came out great! ?
