  1. X-acto knives from a set given to me by my parents and a couple more from a neighbor when I was about 8 years old.
  2. Then people would be "outraged" about whatever other kit was altered for a show tie-in.
  3. Yeah it's really a strange time. Out here what is restricted and not changes so often we are not able to make decisions that require any kind of lead time.
  4. Wow Tom. Sounds like the LA freeways just about any time of the day.
  5. 67 did not have side marker lights so the fenders and bed sides are unique to that year. 67-68 Chevy fenders were shaped differently at the front edge from 69-72 and 67-72 GMC.
  6. Note that they have also dished the chrome where the taillight lenses go.
  7. It's time to look into "print-on-demand" publications like Model Car Builder and several others that are available.
  8. Also the original kit nose is too flat and angular. This carried over to the 1970 Mustang kits as well.
  9. With the uncertainty of the current Covid-19 virus situation, the unpredictability of response by elected officials and in the interest of everyone's safety, we have decided to cancel the Spirit of Speed show that we had scheduled for November 8, 2020. Hopefully in a year's time circumstances will be stable enough for us to plan and conduct our show.
  10. From what I understand the kit/tool was designed to make the change from 1968 to 1969 relatively simple.
  11. You could always stretch one to make Casanova Frankenstein's ride.....
  12. I saw a full page ad for Revell paint in some magazine I received the other day.
  13. I want to go to a Toyota dealer and ask for a Camry that sounds lust like the one in the commercials. That V8 sounds good!
  14. So frustrating to watch just about any car-related show. "Experts" that don't know squat.
  15. I have checked as I am in process of building a 63 Nova Wagon. The 66 chassis works but needs some sanding around and behind the rear wheel wells and maybe some clearancing to work with the wagon interior.
  16. The narrator was explaining that no fuel was getting to the throttle body on a car where they were installing an aftermarket fuel injection system. Said no fuel was getting to the throttle body when there are clearly fuel rails and injectors in the intake runners.
  17. And they show "DeLorean" tearing around in a Buick.
  18. When a car in a chase hits a parked car and goes flying.
  19. 62 Thunderbird hardtop on Angeles Crest Highway.
  20. One of my favorites: Using a car door as a shield in a gun battle.
  21. My guess is that a 67 had never been done before. And to rile up the cult of 68 Coronet.
  22. Early episodes I guess where they used the Manta kit cars.
  23. Revell should revise the tool and make a 66 Coronet..
