  1. If you can find a local sign supply , they sell 4' x 8' sheets of styrene , mine are .020 , I think , maybe .040 . It's been so long since I bought them , a life time supply of 4 sheets , I don't remember . ? Old age catching up with me . They should also carry the Weld-On 4 glue for styrene .
  2. Here's another one I found , also Fairfax posted a build , Oct 8th , 2019 here on the forum .
  3. "Knock on wood" supposed to be near 80 for the next 5 days . .
  4. Picked up a 61 Comet ( needs a rear bumper , a Valiant ( not sure of the year , no markings ) and the new Mooneyes dragster kit at a slotcar show in Port Orange ( just south of Daytona ) .
  5. That's just a cool looking car .
  6. Yes , that looks much better . ?
  7. Gorgeous , I'd drive it ! ?
  8. Just think of how "uninformed" the average person is and realize that half of the population is even less so . That's as nice as I can put it . ?
  9. Boy , this brings back memories , my first car was a 59 4 door sedan , dusty rose/ gray , 6 with a powerglide . Drove the wheels off it . ? Yours is beautiful .
  10. Yep , followed a lot of your builds , always impressed . Fantastic cars . I loved when you sliced up a Chevy and Merc to make a Buick . ?
  11. Hey Steve , the picture I posted is of a 68 Corronet torque box , you can see the bolt arrangement on the wall of the box on the spring side and no provision for a shackle to bolt to the floor pan . I Googled "1968 Corronet Hemi torque box" .
  12. The torque boxes are a nice touch , now the front spring hanger just needs to bolt to the torque box , not the body . A small detail that might not be worth the effort , but noticeable . I've watched too many Graveyard Cars episodes . ?
  13. Beautiful job , Dave
  14. Wow , truly a great craftsman with a passion .
  15. We've lost an artist of immense talent , My he and his loved ones find peace .
  16. Fantastic work , Steve , need some belts for the rear passengers though . ?
  17. .080" is only 2 " in 1/25 , need to find out what the actual size is then divide by 25 to get a size for the sprue or rod . The ones I've seen look to be about 3" , so .120" would be correct .
  18. Everything looks good on this one !
  19. Love watching these old races . Great looking car too .
  20. Nice looking sedan , yep , really a cool cruise . Watch out for those reflectors on the highway , they'll definitely take out the oil pan . ?
  21. Now that's nice .
  22. beautiful , love some old modifieds .
  23. I drop things so much , I got tired of stopping and crawling around looking for them . I bought a grocers apron at the flea market and thumb tacked the bottom to the front edge of my work bench , when I sit down , I put the top over my head and have a nice little catch all in my lap . It's saved me a lot of time .
