Unfortunately , I'm of the age , 69 , where I can't physically do the work any more or I'd really consider doing just that . We have our eye on a similar car , gray metallic , and lower mileage , 86K , in our area . Now just waiting on the insurance co to make an offer and decide if we really need 3 vehicles .

Ours is a 04 Crown Vic LX Sport , black with gray leather , really nice car , my wife's ride , well taken care of , now it's a parts car for someone . This would be ideal to upgrade the interior in an interceptor model . As we did maintenance on it over the years , we upgraded the suspension parts , slotted and drilled rotors , limo air bags and shocks , limo radiator and larger throttle body . Really going to miss it This isn't mine , but what it looks like , still looks like this from this angle .

Got the final estimate on the Crown Vic , 2 estimates within $100 of each other = totaled , , now to decide if we really need 3 cars .

Got rear ended going to a cookout yesterday , , slowing to turn in and a young fella , 16 , behind us poked the right rear corner with his Forerunner . Got the tail light assembly , the bumper cover , the bar behind it and pushed the quarter just enough to bow it out maybe 1/2" and move the deck lid to the drivers side and jam it and that's just what I can see . Now for the dance with the insurance company , although Geico has been easy to deal with in the past when we were the customer and have already contacted me about an estimate , here's hoping they will be again .

Wife and I were possibly exposed after having dinner with some friends who were exposed at a funeral . Of course everybody had to be tested , ours came back negative , , still waiting for our friends results to come back .

Putting a car with yellowed decals in direct sun light will some times get rid of the tint , maybe it will work for the glass as well ?
