Looks like when I started to close in the upstairs in my garage . If you can insulate the roof and end walls in between the rafters , do so , it will save you in the summer and winter , I put in R30 and covered it with 1/2" plywood so I could mount lights anywhere I wanted .

My son had the same problem with the insurance company , they paid for a new roof and said all the overhanging tree limbs had to be removed . We rented a lift and cut just the limbs that were over the house in an afternoon , left the rest to shade it .

Temps in the high 60s this morning , finally getting a little break from the heat , highs still supposed to be in the 90s , but weatherman said "It's a dry heat" .

Great looking Bird , Tommy , I really like that color combo , a couple of suggestions for next time , you need to add the coil on the intake manifold just above the breather on the passenger side valve cover , you have the coil wire running there and down behind the engine and it looks like you used something to darken the panel lines on the doors but the lines are too feint on the rear of the doors , maybe rescribe them next time to get better definition .

Just hoping it's a lot of rain by the time it gets to us ( Jacksonville ). Where I live on the westside ( the best side ) it hasn't flooded too bad ( not in a flood zone ) , we still get water in the streets , but it runs off quickly , damage from the wind is my main concern . We lost our fence last time and I kinda like the new one . Everyone take the precautions necessary to be safe .

Looks like you have a good start on your version , also need to move the top forward to line up the door lines . I also added a piece of half round to hide the seam and strengthen it .

Wow , looks like my wife's car , she had a 70 Mach 1 , in that color , traded it for a silver\with a black vinyl top 72 SS Chevelle . Guess that's what attracted me to her , being a car nut too .
